NordVPN Visual C++ prerequisite and source note
For managed NordVPN Windows deployments, stage the Microsoft Visual C++ v14 Redistributable (x64) before installing or updating the client. On clean images or VPN-only kiosk builds, treating the runtime as an explicit prerequisite avoids installer failures that otherwise look like a NordVPN package problem.
Use NordVPN’s official Windows installer endpoint as the package source: NordVPNSetup.exe. Microsoft publishes the supported x64 runtime on the latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads page.
