Npcap redistribution and Wireshark capture-driver prerequisite note
Npcap is the packet-capture driver Wireshark and related tools rely on, but silent redistribution is governed by Npcap OEM licensing. If your deployment requires a silent or internally redistributed Npcap install, validate licensing/source from Npcap before packaging it as a prerequisite; otherwise Wireshark may install while capture-driver servicing remains unmanaged.
