Silent install tip
For large-scale deployments of Octopus Tentacle on Windows, use the MSI with standard silent options and an explicit install path, for example:
msiexec /i Octopus.Tentacle..msi /quiet INSTALLLOCATION="C:Program FilesOctopusTentacle"; after installation, you can script configuration using Tentacle.exe (e.g., Tentacle.exe show-thumbprint --instance "Tentacle" --nologo) as part of your automation.
