OpenSSL Windows runtime prerequisite note

For managed Windows OpenSSL deployments, install the required Microsoft Visual C++ v14 runtimes before invoking the OpenSSL installer. Current x64 Windows packages may need both x64 and x86 VC++ v14 redistributables available for reliable install/update behavior, so treat those runtimes as explicit dependencies in Intune, ConfigMgr, RMM, or PSADT packages.

Use the official Win32/Win64 OpenSSL package page as the source for Windows installers, then verify Add/Remove Programs DisplayVersion or the installed OpenSSL binary after setup. Official source: https://slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html.
