PerlPrimer

PerlPrimer is a free, open-source, cross-platform graphical user interface application written in Perl for designing primers for standard PCR, bisulphite PCR, real-time PCR, and sequencing. It incorporates accurate melting-temperature and primer-dimer prediction algorithms with tools such as sequence retrieval from Ensembl and BLAST search of primer pairs to automate and simplify primer design.
