QuickPar is a Windows application developed by Peter B. Clements for creating and verifying PAR2 files to protect data integrity and recover corrupted or missing files using Reed-Solomon error correction. It is freeware but not open-source and considered abandonware since it has not been updated in over 20 years.

QuickPar has not been updated since version 0.9.1 released in 2004 and is considered abandonware. MultiPar is the actively developed replacement. QuickPar runs on Windows and can be used under Linux via Wine.
