RemoteDesktopManager – Command-line note

To silently install Remote Desktop Manager for all users with the Complete option, run msiexec /i Setup.RemoteDesktopManager.{VERSION}.msi /Quiet /Passive INSTALLMODE=Complete from an elevated command prompt. This suppresses UI, registers file associations (deselect RDP association in Custom mode if unwanted), and requires elevated privileges as per official documentation.

For Remote Desktop Manager 2025.1.24.0 and newer, validate .NET 9 Desktop Runtime before starting a managed install or update. the installer can freeze behind an interactive window when that runtime is missing; in Intune or ConfigMgr, make .NET 9 Desktop Runtime an explicit dependency or pre-check so the deployment fails fast instead of timing out.
