For unattended RubyMine deployments, use JetBrains’ silent installer with a product-specific configuration file, for example rubymine-*.exe /S /CONFIG=C:\Temp\rubymine_silent.config /LOG=C:\Temp\rubymine_install.log /D=C:\Program Files\JetBrains\RubyMine. In silent.config, set mode=admin for an all-users install and adjust launcher or file-association options to match the managed developer workstation baseline.

Run the installer as administrator for mode=admin installs, and pre-close RubyMine before managed updates. RubyMine EXE packages as returning Exit Code 1618 when the IDE is open during an update, so Intune/ConfigMgr deployments should use conflicting-process handling instead of retrying the same installer against a running IDE.
