securefs is a filesystem in userspace (FUSE) with transparent authenticated encryption and decryption, supporting all major platforms (Mac, Linux, BSDs, Windows). It features probabilistic encryption, efficient cloud synchronization, full 255 bytes filename support, optional file size obfuscation, case insensitivity, and Unicode normalization agnostic filesystem.

Mounts a regular directory as an encrypted filesystem. Installation via Homebrew on macOS or building from source. Windows requires additional dependencies. Simultaneous mounting on multiple devices is not supported.
