Silent install tip
For enterprise deployment of the classic Skype MSI, use a fully silent install with standard Windows Installer switches, for example:
msiexec /i SkypeSetup.msi /qn /norestart ALLUSERS=1. This runs the installation with no UI (/qn), prevents unexpected reboots (/norestart), and installs for all users on the machine via the ALLUSERS=1 property, making it suitable for automated software rollout.
