Skywire is a decentralized and distributed network project by Skycoin that aims to create a new internet based on a mesh network of nodes called Skyminers. It uses a software-defined networking protocol to route traffic efficiently and incentivizes node operators with cryptocurrency micropayments. Skywire is part of the broader Skycoin ecosystem, which includes a next-generation cryptocurrency and blockchain platform.
