stunnel is an open-source multi-platform application designed to add TLS encryption functionality to existing clients and servers without changes in their code. It uses the OpenSSL library to provide secure encrypted connections for clients or servers that do not natively support TLS or SSL. Developed and maintained by Michał Trojnara.
