For managed System Design Load deployments, pre-stage the Microsoft Visual C++ v14 Redistributable runtimes for both x86 and x64 before installing or updating the Carrier load-calculation software. Track the runtime pair as deployment dependencies so install failures are not misdiagnosed as a System Design Load package problem. Source: official SystemDesignLoad source.

For managed System Design Load updates, close the Carrier load-calculation application before launching setup. If it remains open, the update can fail with Exit Code 5; close the application first and verify the installed version afterward.
