Tabby silent install and close-before-update note

For silent deployment of Tabby on Windows, use the NSIS-style switches on the current official Windows installer, for example tabby-1.0.xxx-setup-x64.exe /S /allusers. /S suppresses the installer UI and /allusers installs system-wide. Use the official Tabby site or the project releases page as the installer source: tabby.sh and github.com/Eugeny/tabby/releases.

Before updating Tabby, close running Tabby sessions. The Windows x64 installer can fail with code 0x2 / 2 while trying to remove old application files if Tabby is still open, so Intune, ConfigMgr, or PSADT packages should configure Tabby as a conflicting process and close or defer before starting the update.

For managed Tabby terminal updates, close Tabby before launching setup. If Tabby is open, the update can fail with 0x2 while uninstalling old application files; close terminal windows first and verify the installed version afterward.
