TrayStatus close-before-update note
For managed TrayStatus updates, close the running application before launching the installer. Returns Exit Code 1, update will fail if application is open during update process. Configure a pre-close/user-deferral or conflicting-process rule for TrayStatus rather than repeatedly retrying the update while the app is open.

For managed TrayStatus updates, close TrayStatus before starting setup. If the tray app is open, the update can return Exit Code 1; close the tray process first and verify the installed version afterward.
