Silent install tip

For enterprise deployment of VPKEdit on Windows 10+, download the installer from the official GitHub releases page (craftablescience/VPKEdit), extract it if needed, then run it with the /S switch for silent installation—this suppresses all UI prompts and automatically registers file associations (.vpk, .bee_pack, etc.) without user interaction. For Windows 7/8/8.1, use the “Compatibility” build and the same /S flag after installing the VS2015-2022 x64 runtime (vc_redist.x64.exe). Verify the install by checking vpkeditcli.exe in the target directory for scripted additions to PATH via post-install scripts.
