Silent install tip
For enterprise deployment of Wasmtime on Windows, download the MSI installer (e.g., wasmtime-dev-x86_64-windows.msi) from the official releases page and run it silently with msiexec /i wasmtime-dev-x86_64-windows.msi /quiet /norestart /log wasmtime_install.log to suppress UI, prevent reboots, and enable logging for auditing. This places the wasmtime CLI executable in the default PATH location, ready for scripted execution of WebAssembly modules at scale. Post-install, configure runtime behavior via CLI flags like -C cache=no to disable caching if needed for restricted environments.
