Zulip Desktop MSI update pre-close note
For managed Zulip Desktop MSI updates, close the running Zulip client before launching the installer. Both MSI x64 and MSI x86 packages can return Exit Code 1 when Zulip is open during update, so configure Intune, ConfigMgr, RMM, or PSADT deployments to prompt/defer or close the Zulip process before retrying.
