Saya masih teringat kisah Prof Kamil (penulis buku Travelog Haji) yang masih tidak tahu membaca Al-Quran walaupun telah bergelar Prof. Tujuan saya bukan untuk menyebarkan keaiban beliau bahkan beliau sendiri telah menulis kisah ini dalam buku-bukunya bagi tujuan kesedaran kepada muslimin dan muslimat.

Kisahnya telah didengari oleh Allah melalui doanya lantas beliau didatangi oleh seorang Hafiz yang sedang mencari peluang pekerjaan lalu minta diajarkan bacaan Al-Quran sehinggalah beliau berjaya khatam di Mekah sewaktu menunaikan Haji.

Sehingga setakat ini Prof Kamil sedang menetap di Madinah kerana mendapat peluang mengajar di salah sebuah universiti di Madinah dan pada masa yang sama mendapat peluang selalu mendatangi Masjid Nabawi malah rumah beliau berada di Jabal Uhud! Subhanallah!

Itulah semangat yang ditunjukkan oleh seorang insan yang ingin sangat berubah, berdoa banyak-banyak dan disertakan dengan usaha yang bersungguh-sungguh insyaAllah akan dibantu olehNya.

Sebahagian dari kita mungkin boleh mencontohi sikap beliau. Khasnya bagi mereka yang masih mencari-cari peluang untuk mempelajari Al-Quran di peringkat usia yang sudah matang anda tidak seharusnya malu dan takut untuk belajar. Tidak ada istilah sudah terlambat atau sudah tidak ada peluang. Prof Kamil mungkin bernasib baik kerana mendapat pertolongan seorang Hafiz. Jika mampu anda carilah seorang Hafiz namun jika tidak anda boleh mendapatkan MyQalam Quran.

What Makes Stuffed Animal Toy Like Sing-A-Ma-Jigs the Perfect Gift Ever for Your Kids?

Music soothes the soul. Fisher-Price has come out with an adorable stuffed animal toy called Sing-A-Ma-Jigs. There are four all together to make up a toddler barbershop quartet. Pressing the left hand allows three separate modes, chatter, sing and harmonize. Pressing the stomach causes them to make noises. I have never had a more perfect gift for our son. He is captivated by the cute toys, and even tries to sing along with them.

The more of these little free spirits that you have together the bigger the chorus. In chatter mode they talk their own little language that always encourages our toddler to jabber right back. They also sing their own song. We love the zany off beat characters. They can harmonize with each other to sing in a chorus. Their little mouths move and everything when they sing. They are some of the cutest, most entertaining toys our toddler has had. Of course, I have to admit, I am entertained by them as well.

There are four different unique characters, each has their own color and style. There is a blue one, a yellow one, pink and red. The blue one is our sons favorite. He is delighted that he can make them sing and jabber. These adorable little toys were some of the best present we have ever gotten. The red and the blue were a birthday present for him, but we may end up getting a few more for Christmas time. It would really great to see all four jabbering and singing together.

Our older kids are also entertained by the little furry toys. They spend more time playing with our toddler now. It is wonderful watching the kids interact with the little toys and each other. I don’t think we can ask for a better present for the price. The toy and the battery both cost less than twenty-five dollars. I think that is more than worth it for the enjoyment our kids and toddler specifically get from it.
