Something I don't like... I have no problems with acts doing multiple talent shows, like we saw with Baron of the Universe this week... but every year we have acts on BGT that are a direct copy of something we saw on the previous season of AGT, sometimes vice versa as well but more on BGT... Last week we saw a direct copy of Sky Elements on BGT and now we just saw a direct copy of Chris Turner this week... I know obviously producers decided we need an act like that that would be entertaining for British audiences, but it would be better for them to just come over... not to do a weaker copy... Does anyone else who watches both notice this?
Just Updated
Re watching back B Unique Crew's performances from AGT with their audition being in my opinion one of the best this past season I can't seem to get my head around why Simon isn't a fan of them. Because when they were on Britain's Got Talent earlier this year they got buzzed by him saying that he "didn't feel excited" and this time around on AGT while he didn't give them an X he still gave them some sort of criticism compared to the other judges who gave high praise which I can't seem to understand what he didn't really like about them
Coming from someone who has seen them on numerous Got Talent shows over the years I think they are simply remarkable at what they do and are one of the best dance groups I've seen in a long time especially with their Got Talent Espana Final performance being one of my all time favourite of theirs and with Simon being critical of them on both BGT and AGT really doesn't make sense to me
Let me know your thoughts in the comments below
I think we can all agree that Season 20 was a little bit disappointing. But I think one of the biggest missed opportunity was not bringing in a ton of returning acts for guest performances or a little bit more. (especially in the finale).
I will get the "Little Bit More" out of the way, I feel like they should've brought in a AGT Alumni act to fill in due to Heidi's scheduling conflicts or have them be Guest Judges for the Live Show Golden Buzzers. There has been a ton of AGT Alumni who have been judges (The Show even acknowledged that Hans was a guest judge on Australia's Got Talent), and I feel like if they were on the panel, the results could've been different and I think some AGT Alumni would've made for some great judges. (It might be just me on this).
But I think the finale suffers more from not having past AGT Alumni perform with the finalists, especially since a bunch of AGT Alumni had attended the finale:
Merrick Hannah (Season 12 - Semifinalist)
Vicki Barbolak (Season 13 - Finalist)
Junior New System (Season 13 - Semifinalist)
Tom Cotter (Season 7 - Runner Up)
Micah from Sons of Serendip (Season 9 - 4th Place)
Learnmore Jonasi (Season 19 - 5th Place)
Sethward (AGT Legend)
Bianca Ryan (The 1st AGT Winner)
And yes, I know that the finale had SAINTED, Richard Goodall, and a Magic trio featuring Shin Lim, Piff the Magic Dragon, and Mat Franco (though that was only to promote a movie), but only SAINTED performed with one of the AGT S20 Finalists. I feel like last night's finale show would've been amazing had the finalists performed with AGT Alumni. Especially with Jessica Sanchez's performance, which I think should've been a duet with Bianca Ryan (which would've made for a unique and special full circle moment with the 1st winner performing with the soon to be latest winner). But I don't know, what do you think?

Before Seasons 17 and 18, It was wholly unfair to include a wildcard act in the finals. This is also proof that Howie had no regards for We Three’s backstory with their mother and foolishly picked Daniel Emmet resulting in the latter getting harassed by a user on Twitter. Basically Howie should have known better than to mindlessly break rules.
We are technically at the halfway point of the Auditions for Season 20. So I figured now would be the perfect time to start predicting the acts who could make the Live Shows. I did this with BGT earlier this year and got 30 out of the 31 Semifinalists correct. But this is a little bit harder to predict because we don't know which format Season 20 is going to use since within the last 5 years, we have had 4 format changes. So I don't know if they are going to use Season 19 format with 44 acts, the Season 17 and 18 format with 55 acts, or the Season 16 format with 36 acts. But I will still be using the original method I used: Predicting which 6 acts per episode that are most likely to make it through to the lives.
So far we have 5 acts confirmed for the Lives with the Golden Buzzer:
LightWire (Simon's 1st Golden Buzzer)
Jourdan Blue (Howie's 1st Golden Buzzer)
Messoudi Brothers (Mel's 1st Golden Buzzer)
Charity Lockhart (Mel's 2nd Golden Buzzer)
The Funkateer Dancers (Terry's 1st Golden Buzzer)
And we have so far 31 accepted acts throughout the 4 episodes. I also have done the math and I can say at least we are seeing most of these acts making it to the Lives since the Beginning episodes usually have most of the accepted acts make it through to the lives (which sucks if your audition airs in Episode 6 - 9). So with that in mind:
Auditions 1: There were 6 acts that were accepted in the episode and I believe the following 5 have a high chance at making it into the lives. (I am only saying 5 here since I don't think the show would waste a Live Show spot for Sandy Larson)
Team Recycled (Dance Group)
Zak Mirz (Magician)
Micha Palate (Rapper)
Amadou Diallo (Contorionist)
Jacqueline & Wagner (Skating Ariel Duo)
Auditions 2: 8 acts that were accepted and with the exception of 2 acts, these acts I believe have a high chance at making it:
The Kid Clippers (Dance Group)
TT Brothers (Acrobatic Duo)
The Phobias (Horror Magic Trio)
Girish and the Chronicles (Rock Band)
CitiLimitz (Singing Trio)
Alex Zinger and his Groove (Dance Group)
Auditions 3: 9 acts were accepted and the acts I think have a high chance at making the lives are:
Urban Theory (Dance Group)
Cyril Takayama (Magician)
Duo Turkeev (Aerial Duo)
Benjamin Hightower (Singer/Pianist)
Boston Dynamics (Robot Dance Group)
Leo High School Choir (Choir)
Auditions 4: 8 acts were accepted and the acts I think have a high chance at making the lives are:
Chase Varnes (Singer/Guitarist)
Mastermind (Magician)
Jonglissmo (Juggling Group)
Loco Pop Familia (Cat Dance Group)
Astrid Jorgensen w/ the Audience (Vocalist)
Mama Duke (Rapper)
I will update my picks once more audition episodes air, but so far these are my picks for who I think the show would pick for the Lives. Of course, not all of them are going to make the lives, but it is fun to predict which acts could make it. Feel free to comment which acts so far do you think will be in the lives.
Mel has returned, yay. Now she’s saying No to half the acts in an episode. What on earth is going on with here?
