About the AID Framework

The Artificial Intelligence Disclosure (AID) Framework provides a concise, standardized way to disclose how generative AI tools were used across the research and writing process. It complements (but does not replace) traditional citation by capturing roles AI can play—from conceptualization and data analysis to translation and project administration—and encourages clarity on privacy and security practices. This transparency helps readers, reviewers, and instructors understand the nature and extent of AI assistance, supporting academic integrity and reproducibility.
