Just kidding. My storage is already full here… I’m going to just try to work through the annoying parts of blogger. So find our updates back at
Concrete house
Tonys been getting ready for a builder show. He’s in charge of their booth. He brought home some samples of the blocks we will use to build our house. Here are miniature ones he will use for the show.

Styrofoam and then braces in the middle. You pour the concrete in between the styrofoam.

Here’s an actual piece for a house. Adeline was so excited to be able to pick it up! We are all going to get to help out our house together. It’s going to be pretty cool!

Super easy for Abby.

And Ellie was happily working on a creation. 🙂

Birthday Celebrations!
Our sweet Adeline is 4!

She loves gems and rainbows. She loves to play with barbies, princesses, Polly pockets, and Shopkins. She also loves hatchimals.

She got 4 different celebration days his year! Perfect for being her 4th birthday. 😉

Her first celebration included her birthday shopping with Grannie! She got to pick some toys out at BJs. Her dream came true and she got a package of hatchimals.

She also picked out a Minnie Mouse purse. Her favorite part was the phone and the wallet. She loves that she can store things in the wallet!

Round 2 was a playgroup party. She doesn’t ever eat cake really, so she chose cookies. And she wanted colorful frosting. And gems on top. So I made a Disney sugar cookie and make rainbow frosting. It’s not beautiful, but it was tasty!

I didn’t pull together an actually birthday party for her this year, but thankfully she’s young enough that she was good with this! We had lots of friends over and it was a good day for her. She and Bryn are pretty sweet together.

Friday we had the family party. She requested papa’s chili and rice for dinner. Yum!
And we made another giant sugar cookie. And she told me the order she wanted the colors to go in.

Can’t believe this big girl is 4!!

She had so much fun opening gifts! Her sisters got her a purse (rainbow!!) and some goodies inside.

A hatchimal inside!

And gems!!

Auntie Nette sent a whole egg carton of hatchimals!!!!

And gem stickers!!!

Grannie made Adeline an overnight bag.

Perfect for her! She loves green. And monkeys are one of her favorite animals (also, pandas).

She got a color changing sequin pillow from the Kissels. A rainbow one of course!

She just getting so big.

And I can tell the 3 year old in her is leaving. And I’m so happy about it! We are 3 for 3 with 3 being a REALLY, REALLY tough age.

She got a fun jewelry box from grandma and papa along with a craft and some play food. Oh, and a pop up book! Love those!

Saturday was Adeline’s actual birthday. She was so excited! I asked her, “if you could go anywhere or do anything on your birthday, where would you want to go?” Guess what she said?? Target. Hahaha. She also mentioned the beach, but she will have to wait a few months. 😉
We talked about t and decided on a trip to the park, a trip to Target, and then to sweet frog for a treat. Oh, and Spam Musubi for lunch!
It was chilly, but fun. We even played tag as a family and it was so much fun to play with the girls! I really do hate being chased… even by a 6 year old! Haha

You cant tell, but Adeline is wearing her gem dress we got her for her birthday. To say she loves it is an understatement.

Sweet frog was yummy, as always.

Isla shares with me and would complain and whine when she was ready for another bite.

We also got those jams for Adeline. She LOVES them.

We sure love this crazy, stubborn, silly, trouble making girl. She keeps ya on our toes. She was our first kid to cut her own hair. She loves to play games and loves for you to play with her.
It’s hard to believe that she came out so huge and is now so tiny. She’s always been her own little person and does what she wants. She came into this world big and fast and kind of left me in shock… and she is still kind of that way. Ha! 😉
I love her so much and we are so glad she is in our family. Happy Birthday, sweet Adeline! We love you so much!

Why?
Why am I having a hard time blogging? I don’t know, but I’m working on catching up!
Adeline has discovered her love for spinach salad. Yay! My girls all love fresh spinach and will just munch on it as a snack.

Adeline loves green eggs and ham. And she loves playing with grandmas dr Seuss toys. I came up one day and they were playing green eggs and ham, so I had to capture that moment. Cute!

Adeline loves the Barbie Spy Squad movie. And the girls are gymnasts in that movie, so she loves to wear leotards all the time.

Isla loves her biggest sister. A lot.

We watched Willow for Joey one morning. And Tony started his first day at Builder Up. I think that was on March 5.
Grandma Lori fell and broke her hip. She had to have surgery and is recovering. We got to go visit her and the girls were excited to see her.

It definitely brightened Lori’s day. She loves my girls and they’ve adopted her as an extra grandma.

Also, the girls had a blast playing on the wheelchairs!

Lets see, we had a girls night at Alecia’s to celebrate Sarah G’s birthday. So fun. We’ve been bad at taking pictures.
9 months

I’m 9 months old (and then some… because I’m late doing this!).
I weigh 19lb 4oz and am in the 65%. And I’m 26.5in, in the 8%. I’m short and stout. Like the teapot! 😉
I crawl everywhere, cruise around furniture, and I love to snuggle. Like, super love it. I give hugs and kisses too.
I liked getting to watch my sisters do gymnastics.

I got my first tooth! And now I have 2!

Sucking on ice is so yummy and it helps my poor gums feel better.

I like to drink from my sippy cups.

We put this fun music toy away… because I won’t sit at it anymore and mommy didn’t want me climbing on it. I don’t know why…

This is mommy’s favorite. She quickly went through the movies and put the discs in books… ruining my fun…

See? Kisses!

I got sick. It was no fun. I had lots and lots and lots of snuggles to try to make it better.

I love my pink dress!!

And I don’t sit still for long!

Most mornings, I wake up with crazy hair!

See my cute tooth??

I had my first Valentine’s Day! We missed the party because Ellie was sick. I still dressed up for the day.

All the heart eyes! I like to take things to the next level. 😉

And me and mommy.

Abby and Ellie have these cool shirts where you can play with the sequins. Love it!

And I love when my sisters play with me!!

I get into a lot of stuff. I love to explore!

Give me a ride on this and we are friends!

So fun!

I’m pretty much attached to mommy at the hip. I like her. And I don’t like to feel left out.

I’m learning to walk. Right now I push my doll (or books) around.

Don’t you just want to cuddle me??? I didn’t feel good at all!

I was pretty sad about it too.

Abby could sometimes make it better.

Papa is fun to play with! He always helps me get into stuff.

I love to snuggle while I sleep. Especially when sick!

I fell asleep like this one night.

And I finally got better!

And mommy took us on a walk and then we got to play at the park! I love the swings!!!!

I’ve taken a couple falls into the coffee table.

They’ve mentioned something about Harry Potter…

I love storytime!

And Sydney is my BFF.

I like to be in on the action with my sisters, so one day I put on the Moana costume all by myself while they were playing dress up. I’m a cute Moana, right?

I’m always standing up!

I love my Daddy. And I’ve even snuggled to sleep with him a few times!

I went to the Temple with mommy and grandma and papa. Auntie Michelle watched me. I was so good and we took some pics together while we waited for Mommy. One day I’ll master fish lips for pictures!

I love my grandma and papa. I think the feelings mutual. 🙂

I say Dada and Mama. And I make other sounds too. I’m loud.
In the evenings, I usually have singing time. This is where I shout and scream some songs (happily). Mommy and daddy love it when they are trying to talk or watch something. 😉

I throw fits and I will cry if you take something from me. I love peek a boo and to feel like I’m being chased.
I put everything in my mouth. And I like to eat, a little bit.

See ya soon, when I’m 10 months!
Special Day
Last Saturday we got to go to the temple. It was a special day. Mom and dad were both sealed to their parents. And it was nice to have other ward members there to help.
It was crazy crowded, but not chaotic at all.

Me with my mommy and daddy!

Tony wasn’t able to go because he was meeting someone at our land to start surveying it!!! CAN I GET A BIG, WOOT WOOT?!?!
Michelle was able to watch Isla for me, so it worked out perfectly. And Isla was a good girl. And they had fun with my phone when I was inside. Adorable.

Here’s the rest of the crew, minus the Edwards.

Also, one of the group pics I didn’t save, I looked like this! Bahahahaaha.

We had dinner on the way home and it was yummy! Tony was with the girls and they had a fun day together.
We are well!!!
Last Tuesday, we made it out of the house!!! It was a beautiful day! I had planned to stay in and clean up some, but Lindsay texted to see if I wanted to meet for a walk. So I decided to go. And it was glorious! We walked and talked for a while and then let the kids play at the park! Adeline and Alex played and Isla and Charley had fun in the swings. It was Isla’s first time, and she loved it!

Cutie girls!

The girls celebrated Dr. Seuss week at school. They wore crazy socks, a hat, wore green, and wore a college shirt. I found a supple of my BYU shirts in my closet that don’t fit anymore. Ummmm… I’m not sure how these shirts EVER fit me?!?! But I totally wore them! And now I’ll probably just eat celery for a few days… 😉

Also, Abby is such a goober!

We spent a day at the Schoeny’s. The kids played and Joni and I caught up. It was fabulous. Also, Sydney loves me… and I love her too!
Isla has taken some falls, and has gotten a few nice marks… like this Harry Potter mark on her forehead. Poor baby.

We also went to Storytime another day. It was so nice to be out of the house!!

These cuties played with (and chewed on) the food… so gross!!

Adeline and I have been doing a little bit of school time at home. She’s been wanting to learn her letters now, so it’s been fun. We do a little and then she usually suckers me into playing a game or playing barbies or something for a few minutes, then she will go off and play by herself. She been pretty pleasant lately. And she loves this puzzle at the library.

We reorganized the girls dress up stuff one evening and Abby made labels for each bin. We will see if it lasts. 😉
Abby put on several undershirts and thought it looked beautiful! Ha.

At 5 something in the morning on Friday, I got a call from the school system telling us that school was cancelled… SWEET SWEET WORDS! There was a terrible wind storm and it was declared a state of emergency. Crazy! I turned off the alarm and went back to sleep.
It had been dress like a book character day, but obviously it didn’t happen. No costumes were allowed, so Ellie had planned to wear a 1 fish, 2 fish, red fish, blue fish shirt. Abby had planned to wear leggings, a skirt, and a shirt… like the young Amelia Bedelia. Fun.

The wind was wicked. We lost power a couple times. Once was for a couple hours. But it came back and we were good to go!
The neighbors had a tree fall on their fence and into our yard.

Right next to the house.

Abby spent a lot of time in the craft room going through stuff. Ha.

And we had a tree fall in the girls’ path by the swing set.

Mom and dad decided to brave the wind and go down to the base. Ellie wanted to tag along. She was thrilled for the 1 on 1 time!

She picked out a bunch of fun snacks for us.

And was entertained by the pigs ears and feet!

Isla has really taken to her daddy recently. She even fell asleep on him!! She’s such a snuggle bug!

More sickness
Adeline was fine the next day and Ellie was still up and down, but I knew the meds would start working soon for her. Isla was sick, but playing a little bit.

This girl wants to walk. She can push her little stroller now.

On Friday we went in for the follow up. Ellie had now missed 7 days of school (minus the couple hours she was at school the day we found it she had pneumonia…). Poor girl!
Adeline checked out just fine, Ellie’s ear was looking better and her lungs were sounding better. But the infected bump wasn’t. She wanted me to take Ellie to an urgent care place to have them drain it. Which meant… Ellie get a shot, they cut it open, and drain it. My poor girl!!!!!
Also… Isla was pretty sick now. Total domino affect!
Tony had to go get a drug test for his new job anyways, so he planned to take Ellie to urgent care for that. This was also his last day at Dean Lumber.
Turns out though, that the people at urgent care didn’t think Ellie needed anything done with the bump and that the antibiotics would clear it up. And it has! *whew*
Poor, sweet Isla was really fussy. And I was blessed to be able to be calm through these weeks of sickness. It was a blessing really, because I don’t usually handle it very well. But I was able to just snuggle and comfort and we discovered that Isla loves to have her back scratched and rubbed.

I got this text from mom and thought it was adorable. Adeline loves to also talk about how things probably cost $30. Or $50. And she says it in a really cute and most serious voice. 🙂

Saturday Abby got invited to play with Addie for the day. She escaped the sickness and I was happy to let her go and be away from the germs. Tony dropped her off and I stayed with poor sick Isla. Abby had a blast. The highlights of her day was walking around the neighborhood just the two of them (such big girls!), I guess they had some good conversations, and then she got to go see Peter Rabbit with them.
Tony, Ellie, and Adeline went to the Menges house for dinner because uncle Jonny came for a surprise visit. I stayed home with little sickie and we snuggled. When Abby got home, I told her she could have whatever she wanted for a late dinner because she had had a late lunch and popcorn at the movie. Out of all of her choices, she wanted a cheese stick, fresh spinach, cut up apple, and an English muffin. She came up with hat balanced meal all by herself! And she had thirds of the spinach! Ha. She was happy to get me to herself for a bit.

Abby got some snuggles from Isla too. Everyone felt bad for their baby sister.

And Isla mostly loved all of the love she got.

Sunday I made the tough choice to stay home from church. I hate missing church, especially since I get to go to relief society now! But, I needed to and I think it helped Isla. Also, it was just me and Isla for like 4 hours!!!
Ellie requested that Izzy wear their matching sweaters. Izzy was so sweet to match her cousin. So adorable!!

Isla fell asleep one night at my feet. Such a silly girl!

Monday Ellie was back at school! She was so excited. And tickled because her teacher pretended not to remember her name and called her things like Elsa… 🙂 Isla still wasn’t 100%, so we decided to lay low for another day.
I made Jen Hatmaker’s curry and it was a hit, except with Tony, he hated it. But, he doesn’t like coconut, so that’s why. Also, if I made it again (which I guess I won’t… boo) I would add more spices and I guess more curry paste and powder. I went light on it because I didn’t know how spicy it would be. I ended up adding sriracha seasoning to my bowl! Ha. And fish sauce… absolutely disgusting. Thinking of the smell of that stuff makes me want to vomit. I used the minimum hat her recipe said, but I’d use less, because it’s so gross. And if I thought about it too much and I could taste it, I got a little grossed out. Ha. But all 3 girls ate it. Abby and Ellie raved about it. And Tony hated it. That’s fun. He did eat a whole bowl of it though.

Sick, sick, sick
Welp, I spoke too soon. Adeline woke up feeling sick on Monday. Boo.

Ellie was up and down.

She built this fun house. Notice the bathroom with the potty on the lower right side of the house. 😉

This little girl is getting so big! And she loves to get to play with her big sisters.

Monday night looked like this for Ellie. Not good. Also, she missed her very last gymnastics class. And she didn’t even cry about it. That’s how I knew she really didn’t feel good.

Abby had a great time in her last class. They have open gym on Saturday that is only like $5… so maybe we can do that every once in a while! Her coach told her that she’d like Abby to be on team. Don’t worry, I died a little on he inside again. It is SO hard to know what she could be doing, but we just can’t. And as awesome as it would be and as much as she would love it, I just know we can’t. I’m not willing to sacrifice our family time. And somehow (I think the open gym idea helped!) she wasn’t angry at us. She felt really special that they wanted her! And so I told her that the other gym did too! Haha. So she felt doubly honored. 🙂 I reassured her that I will keep working with her on stuff and that maybe we can see if a few people would be interested and maybe I could do a little weekly lesson, just to make sure I actually did it. She likes that idea too. So yay!
Tuesday looked like this…

She was quiet and very lethargic. And in and out of sleep most of the day.

This girl usually bounces off the walls, causes trouble, and talks A LOT. I didn’t realize how much I missed her little voice until she spoke a little bit that evening. Sweet girl.

Abby has been healthy so far! She got to go on a field trip to Elms. Her school BFF’s mom was their chaperone. She was thrilled! And extra thrilled that her teacher approved her bringing her camera.

I love that there are parents who are willing to go and help my kiddos have fun experiences. Right now, I just can’t. And that’s ok. I had a real hard time with it at first because I wanted to be able to experience these things with my kids, but also… I can’t do everything. And it’s ok.

Maddie’s mom texted me a few pics through the day. LOVED IT!! Here’s Abby holding salamander eggs.

And her class!

They lucked out with some GORGEOUS weather!

Meanwhile, back at the sick house…

Ellie seemed to have turned a corner. And we were all excited. She was missing school so much!

Abby brought home Ellie’s Valentine’s and some schoolwork for her (Ellie hadn’t been at school since the 13th). She got a parachute man and had to test it out.

So far so good with this chick. I’m worried… don’t think I’m calm about all this! 😉

Today, Ellie went to school. It was glorious. Until her nurse called me at a little before 1130 with a sick Ellie. She had a fever and felt bad. The nurse said her left lung sounded a little gunky and she recommended I take Ellie in to make sure she didn’t have pneumonia.
Meanwhile, Adeline was on her third outfit and third set of towels on the couch. Poor barfy girl. And in and out of sleep.

If she wasn’t sleeping, she looked like this…

I called Tony, but he couldn’t get Ellie until 1… so then I called Claire. And thankfully Grannie was able to get Ellie from school.

I made an appointment for both girls and got them in at 1. Tony actually made it home and came with us. That was so nice! He carried the sickos for me.
Diagnosis: Ellie has an ear infection and pneumonia. Adeline looks like a case of the flu. But we don’t know for sure as they don’t have any tests there right now. Boo.

I can’t help but think that this could all be due to the fact that they went to the bounce house place for a party. Those places are crawling with disgusting germs! I didn’t want to go to the party, but Tony wanted to go, it was for his friends kiddo. I caved. And wish I hadn’t. And we can note that Tony said that I was probably right on this one. 😉
Ellie has medicine to take. It’s some strong thing because one of her molluscum bumps looks infected and the Dr is thinking it may be turning into an abscess. Uggggh. Poor girl can’t catch a break! We are hoping this medicine treats all 3 of her problems. And we are keeping an eye on Adeline. She wants to see them both back on Friday to reassess.
Claire came back later and brought us dinner. So awesome of her! Best mother in law ever.
Tony got the meds and some popsicles and such at the store. That perked the girls up. And as the day went on, Adeline got some energy. Weird! Tony took Abby to A days tonight. I was going to… so I could get out of the sick house for a break, but I think Isla is getting sick!!!! Right?! Go ahead and cry with me. It’s ok. She’s really gunky and has a gross cough so I stayed home and we played Uno (Adeline can almost play it by herself!) and read books.

Adeline’s strategy when playing Uno… say Uno every time you lay a card down, no matter how many you have left in your hand… so you don’t forget to say it when the real time comes. 😉

We each won a round and then read a pile of books.

Hoping and praying for a healthy family. We are on week 3 of sicknesses.
Sick weekend
Ellie was still sick on Saturday. She was able to play more, so I was really hopeful that she was starting to get better.
We hung out around the house. I cleaned and broke down a million boxes. Tony worked for the first half of the day. The girls played.
Isla loves getting in on the action. She’s trying to be a big girl. She’s crawling, sitting herself up, pulling herself up, and cruising. She loves for you to hold her hands and let her walk around. She will even push something and walk behind it. She seems too young for that kind of thing!!!!
Abby was reading a book to Isla and Abby decided there needed to be documentation of it, so Ellie took a pic of it. Pretty sure I was doing the dishes.

Then I found these gems on my phone.

She is her fathers daughter…

And proof that Isla is getting into everything! Tonys been clearing off his desk because he will probably be using it some for his new job.

This morning, Ellie came and woke me up to declare that she was better and that she felt good! YAY! So we went to church. It was good, although I spent a good amount of time in he mother’s room with Isla. And then Ellie joined me because she didn’t feel good. But she snuggled and then was ready for class again. And then we stayed for the linger longer. She did ok and said she felt ok. And then we stayed for Curtis’ baptism. Tony was leading the music. And this is when Ellie started going downhill. Tony held her when he wasn’t directing music. I had a sleeping Isla. And then throughout the program, Ellie felt worse and worse. She fell asleep on the floor while she got a fever. We left right after and skipped the treats. Abby was NOT happy to have to miss sister Darrow’s cake! We got home and Ellie got in her jams and fell asleep. She had a 101 fever. We gave her meds, she ate some rice and went to bed. This is a crazy virus. And I hope we didn’t expose anyone to anything! She really was better this morning!!

Fingers crossed she’s better tomorrow. Their last day of gymnastics is tomorrow night. And plus, poor thing just needs a break from being sick! Nobody else has gotten this though, so that’s good. We all just had colds and are almost all better. Poor Ellie. 😦
