Carson Blessing

We blessed Carson about a month ago. Adam gave such a nice blessing and we were so glad to have all of our family here for this event. So here are some pictures of his blessing day!

Happy Halloween

We have had a lot of fun this year getting ready for Halloween. First the kids went and picked out their pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. They came home with a truck full of pumpkins!

Then we went over to Kristyns house to decorate our pumpkins. She invited us and Cody and Nonas family over for FHE. The kids had a great time decorating pumpkins.

And now for Halloween. Carson was a cute little spider. He was such a good baby and just slept the whole time while the kids went trick or treating.

Here is our cute little Mario. Hunter was so excited to be Mario and his cousin Aiden was Luigi. they looked so cute together and got many compliments on their costumes.

And of course Hallee was princess Snow White. She was most excited about being able to dye her hair black.

Adam loves to dress up for Halloween for school. He not only dresses up, but he plays the part of his character. I was a little worried this year that he might get sent home from school. But he didn't and he had a good time scaring the kids at school. It made his day!

Baby Carson

We have been very busy at our house these past 2 weeks. Our biggest announcement is that our baby boy has arrived! Carson Dyreng Peterson was born on August 25 at 3 AM. He weighed

7 lbs. 7 oz. He came 2 weeks early and lets just say that I wasn't exactly ready for this early delivery, but I am glad he is here and doing well. He has been such a sweet little baby and we just love him to pieces!

I love this picture of him smiling. He actually smiles all of the time while he is sleeping. It is so sweet!

After we had been home for a few days, I noticed he was yellow. So we had his blood tested and he actually tested quite high for jaundice. So for 5 days we had to put him on the lights. It was very hard to just leave him there all day and not hold him, but I am grateful we are done as long as his count stays low.

Hallee loves her new brother so much! In the hospital she didn't want anyone else to hold him except for her.

Hunter on his first day of kindergarten. I can't believe he is old enough for school! Hunter loves school and has been so excited to go every day.

Hallee had a little accident on the trampoline. I don't know why, but she always seems to hurt her cute little face. Hunter and Hallee were jumping a little bit too high and Hallee hit the bar and the springs. She cut her previous scar open a little bit and got a nice big black eye. Poor girl. I don't know what I am going to do with her!

Luckily we didn't have to have stitches again.

Hallee on her first day of dance. She has been so excited about taking dance lessons for a long time. She has done really well in her class and loves for anyone to come and watch her at her class. She can't wait to perform for everybody on the big stage!

Summer Time

Between having a broken camera and computer, I am not having much luck keeping up on my blogging. But I did manage to get a few pictures on here. I love summer and all of the fun and busy activities that are always going on. So here are a few things that we have done this summer. We went on our first camping trip a few weeks ago. The kids had a blast. We left our trailer up the mountain but haven't been able to use it because it keeps raining. So hopefully we are done with the rain for a while so we can spend more time up there!



Hunter played t-ball again this year and had a good time. Uncle Thomas was the coach and was really good with the kids.


Hallee was invited to her first friend birthday party. It was a princess party and she had such a fun time getting all dressed up. She looked so cute!

Happy Halloween

So I decided that it was about time that I get back to updating my blog. Here are some pictures from our fun Halloween weekend. The kids had so much fun dressing up and trick-or-treating!

Hunter was T-Rex. He was always trying to scare other people. Of course he started going around the neighborhood a few weeks ago with his costume on trying to find someone to scare.

Hallee was a cute little kitty cat.


Adam's costume was great. Not very many people were able to recognize him. He stopped by his grandparents and both of my grandparents home and had quite the conversations with them and they had no clue that it was Adam! It was funny!

Here is a picture of Grandpa Dyreng with Adam's mullet. I think Adam talked to Grandpa for like 10 minutes until me and the kids finally came in their house and then Adam told Grandpa who he really was. So funny!
