Great Chapter Book for Kids
Reviewed in the United States on February 22, 2022Cheechoo the Res-Q is a delightful read that young readers will enjoy. I think this is the beginning of a fun series.
As this book features a lot of canine characters, children will be introduced to different breeds. Some people think of Pitbulls as dangerous, so it’s refreshing to find an author that shows how friendly and happy they are.
Since this chapter book is written for young readers, I think it would be improved by including illustrations throughout the chapters.

Exciting, action-packed kids chapter book
Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2022Cheechoo the Res-Q was a cute, action book that has a lot of appeal factors for kids: a sweet dog, animal friends, adventure, bad guys and good guys, and a little bit of magic. The adventure felt like a fun caper, and I liked that there was a story that started and ended in this book, plus a story with a bit of a cliff hanger. This would appeal to fans of The Magic Treehouse series.

The beginnings of a fun children's series
Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2022This was a fun, well-written, and deeply engaging kids' book! It reminded me a lot of Oliver and Company (a Disney movie from 1988) with its adventure, artful dodger-type characters, and endearing lead character.
Geared towards kids 8-12, I think the ebook had really accessible language, a wholly engaging way of laying out the story, but I would have liked to see a few more pictures of the friends that Cheechoo makes. Nothing too picture-booky, but I think it would have been a nice element to add to the thrills of the story.
I genuinely look forward to more from Cheechoo--the author has the beginnings of a fun children's series on their hands.

Heroes Come in Many Forms
Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2022Cheechoo The Res-Q is the story that is sure to warm many children and adults across the globe. I could feel the strong bond between Massimo and Cheechoo and it warmed my heart and brought tears to my eyes at the same time. I am also a sucker for stories with a talking dog and when a dog or any animal can communicate with humans, magic happens. However, there were parts of the story that were a little harsh and made me little angry at first but, in connection with the plot I learned that it was all part of the plan with a jolt of inspiration. Then there was a squirrel who told Cheechoo the most important Life lesson to be your own best friend rather than man's best friend and while most would be been offended, I could not help but day yes, yes, YES!! That just proves the most valuable life lessons can come from the most unexpected people. This book also proves that there are many ways to save someone's life and everyone can be a hero to someone in their own way. That is what made This book so great. I can definitely see this book in library collections, bookshelves in every home in America, and in every elementary school classroom. Then to see that it will be continued made me more excited that this will be a series.I
An adventure where heroes come in many forms. This book is worthy of 5 stars.
