Hi! I’m Kimberly.
I’m 30 years old.
Here are some basic facts if you want to get to know me:
I’m Canadian and was born and raised on the east coast of Canada.
I’m married to Chris, the love of my life.
We are together almost 10 years. Married for 3 of them.
We were married in our Nintendo themed wedding on September 5th, 2009 in front of all our family and friends.
We have 3 kitties who are our fur children.
We are dealing with infertility and have been for the past 3.5 years. You can read more about our struggles with infertility in our infertility timeline.
We are first time home owners as of mid-December when we moved into my childhood home.
I’m a secretary and office manager for my father’s company.
I am a self professed geek married to the king of geeks.
We love board games and video games.
I love to read.
I have an unhealthy obsession with Zombies.
I’m a crafter and while I dabble in everything, my main crafting is cross stitching and crocheting.
I’m a fan of Twilight, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Lord of the Rings.
TV shows that I’m hooked on include How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Bones, Sons of Anarchy, Dexter, The Walking Dead, BBC Sherlock, Game of Thrones and I loved Supernatural up til the end of season 5.
My favorite holidays are Halloween and Christmas.
I don’t deal with bullshit and will call you on it.
I’m told I have my father’s temper and I’m not ashamed of that.
I don’t like being lied to, talked about or mistreated.
I also can’t stand when people I care about are treated this way either.
I’m fiercely loyal to those that are important in my life.
I speak my mind regardless of the consequences.
I started blogging almost 10 years ago, way back when livejournal was the cool thing.
I transitioned to blogger last year and finally moved to WordPress as my hopeful final home.
My blogging started as a place for me to sort out my thoughts and feelings. I never expected others to actually read, but in the time between starting my blog and now, I’ve found some of the most amazing women in existence and they have become some of my greatest support. Even though I have never met them in person, they are as dear to me as my family and friends in my everyday life.
While this blog is originally created to vent my frustrations with infertility, my blog posts cover all areas of my life, not just infertility. If you are new, I hope you stop by and say hello.
*Some of my posts are set to password protection. I was forced into doing this when some of my extended family that I never talk to were openly commenting amongst themselves and sharing my posts with the rest of the family. It caused some drama and I was more or less being asked to censor myself on my space to “keep the peace”. I don’t believe in censorship just because you are hurt or don’t agree with my words. As long as you are not this family, I have no problem sharing these posts with you. Just email or message me and I will happily send you the password. But the only things that will be password protected is if I consider them sensitive information about my family.*

We could be great friends! LOL! Love the description!
Hi,
I just stumbled across your blog and my attention was drawn to your hypothyroidism diagnosis. After one IVF cycle and two mc’s, my RE recently has decided to retest my tsh levels. I was just wondering what kind of medication/ treatment plan you are on and if you have any advice. Also, let me know if you directly spoke about this in any of your posts and I’ll just refer to that. Thanks and good luck with your journey!
