eel river.... found objects

we had arrived in the redwood forest.... still had a couple of days before we would attend a wedding in the middle of the eel river....

this rock had miraculously turned into a heart...

these miniature plants were somehow surviving in the sand alongside the eel river... doing just fine it seemed...

just finished it and it was incredible.... so heart wrenching!

the sympathy you feel for the "miserable wretch" is undeniable

i was listening to this man's story today at work on "hearing voices" which is on npr..... i was just about in tears standing there at my die cutter doing the most monotonous work.... this really touches my soul and inspires me in an indescribable way.... it's unbelievable how many amazing people are out there in the world.... makes me feel guilty that i don't try to get out there and meet them... you know?

lighten the load...

gave myself a haircut today.... looks exactly like the cut i got at a hair salon, which cost me thirty bucks! i'm never doing that again... i forgot how easy my hair was to cut.... it's curly enough so you can't really see the mistakes.... well at least i can't

i put it all in a ponytail in the back and cut that off... then i put most of the rest in a ponytail at the top of my head and cut that off.... worked pretty well

only had to fix it here and there....

making the flash take away some of the wrinkles....
