My family basically moved in this summer. I hadn't been feeling too well, and I was tired all the time. So for most of the summer someone from my family was here.

On this particular trip, Kylie was here. We also had some creepy new neighbors move in, so we decided to put up some new blinds. It was not an easy task. I thought we were going to end up in the ER.

But we got them up and they work really well.

We went to Utah for my "last" trip and the kids swim lessons.

They found Kylie's old doll houses, and they were all playing. 

They played so well, for multiple days.

We had fun riding around on bikes, and in wagons.

We went to Bear Lake too.

We went to dinner with my grandparents.

When we got back, we made a trip to the beach.

Hunter broke a board at a friends house.

Erik also had a birthday. We went out his favorite restaurant for dinner.

May 2014

This year Hunter played baseball again. 

He was on the Orioles team with a bunch of his friends.

He loved catching. 

I had a "Berry Special Tea" day with Hunter.

He read a poem to me, and we had lemonade and cookies.

We found out that we were expecting a baby girl!

Final count 1 boy, 3 girls.

Hunter didn't handle the news very well. He went with us to the ultrasound. The ultrasound took FOREVER. Baby girl wasn't cooperating and the tech couldn't get the measurements that she needed for the final report, but she wouldn't tell me that that was the reason. I was just told that I needed another ultrasound. I was so freaked out that something was wrong with our little one. After the ultrasound Hunter went into the bathroom and just started bawling. He was saying things like, "I hope she (the tech) was wrong. Why? Why? Why did it have to be a girl?" He was very upset for the next few days. 

Madelyn got herself dressed for church. 

She is my free spirit child, and this was a battle that I didn't want to fight.

I made my own burp cloths. I think they turned out really well.

Mckinley graduated from Preschool.

Hunter had his last performance in 1st grade.

They did a great job.

Easter in Utah

We got to spend Easter in Utah visiting our Family.

Hunter loves his cousins. I'm just glad we actually got to see them!

We got to go camping at the White Wash Sand Dunes.

Really, How beautiful is this place??

This girl loves her Hockey boys. She made up a song about them.

Madelynn turns 3

Madelynn turned 3! 

She wasn't so sure at first... We got a lot of pictures with grumpy faces.

She quickly warmed up when she saw the decorations.

(Thank heaven for Erik. I was so sick and he stayed up late decorating)

She was so happy once she realized the presents were for her.

We went to the zoo with our friends, the Snelsons. 

The kids were so much fun to watch.

Here they were talking with a keeper about caring for the animals.

The whole trip she was so concerned to see if giraffes have eyebrows. 

They do not, for those of you wondering. But the do have KILLER eyelashes.

This is how Madelynn spells her name. I know it will end all too soon, but this is how she wanted it put on her cake, and I couldn't refuse.
