What's new with us??

Of course I have taken pictures since the last time I posted but I can't find my cord right now. So those will be posted hopefully SOON!

Rick has almost completed all the stuff he had to get done to be a reserve. He just has to finish up his 200 hours of ride along time...which he is out doing some hours right now.

Makayla turned 4..Jaden is SO funny and can be a BIG terd...Dylan has stopped going to speech for the time being to see how he progresses on his own in school...Kolby is Awsome and still loves to ride and jump his dirt bike.

I am running the pre school that 3 out of the 4 of my kids have attended so I am Makaylas teacher. My aunt was in the process of buying it..but plans changed I was going to be helping my aunt. Instead I am working there for the original owner and my aunt will come in when she can and help out. Crazy!! I know but it's great to get out of the house..Especially when Rick is home and HE gets to take care of the kids and the house.. HaHa is that mean???

ImageThe boys are doing great so far this year. Dylan remembers where his classroom is now. LOL In the beginning of the year I would make sure Kolby walked with him to his class because he would just walk right passed it and forget where he was going. I'm sure they will both do great all year even though Dylans teacher told me the first week that he requires a fair amount of manageability. HeHe that's just Dylan :)

The Family is of God

I first heard this song a couple months ago when I started teaching in Primary and I LOVE when we sing it. It is one of my favorite songs and I just wanted you all to know :) Enjoy!!

Our Father has a family. It’s me!
It’s you, all others too: we are His children.
He sent each one of us to earth, through birth,
To live and learn here in families.

A father’s place is to preside, provide,
To love and teach the gospel to his children.
A father leads in family prayer to share
Their love for Father in Heaven.

A mother’s purpose is to care, prepare,
To nurture and to strengthen all her children.
She teaches children to obey, to pray,
To love and serve in the family.

I’ll love and serve my family and be
A good example to each family member.
And when I am a mom or dad, so glad,
I’ll help my family remember:

[Chorus]
God gave us families to help us become what He wants us to be—
This is how He shares His love, for the family is of God.

Thunder's Rollin

Just wanted to share .....
We are getting somewhat of a storm at the moment and I luv how we can hear the thunder rolling in the mounains behind us. It is such a neat sound. I could listen to it ALL day. It does get scary when it's a BIG storm though, it can get real loud and you are able to feel the rumble. Time to get the kiddos ready for tomorrow. Hope everyone has a Great Holiday weekend!!

ImageHere is my handsome graduate. Congrats to dilly! He only has one more day of pre-school then he is off to terrorize the elementary. Good Luck to them :)

And then you have their class picture. I'm not sure what it is with Dylan & pictures. He absolutely loves taking them and loves posing. His personality shines *bright* in this one
you should definitely click on the pic to make it bigger to get the full affect.

So Proud!!

As days go by, Dylan's speech is improving TONS and he is maturing to his age level. Which is a huge relief to me seeing he starts kindergarten in Aug. Anywho....those who know dilly know he has a hard time sitting still and being quiet. WELL last night when we were blessing the food at the dinner table, he whispers to me from across the table "Mom am I doing great"? It was the cutest thing EVER. He makes me so proud.

Last night after dinner, Kolby decided he wanted to have cold lunch (take a lunch from home) I told him I had to make sure I had stuff to make it. He took it upon himself to go in the pantry and get the chips out and he defrosted some bread and had his OWN lunch ready to go and in his backpack. Impressive?? Yes! Even though he can be a little butt head at times, it just comes with the age. I am still so proud of him!
