This hackathon is all about creativity, problem-solving, and real-world impact. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced coder, this is your chance to build something meaningful while pushing your skills to the next level.

Participants will be challenged to create projects based on three key themes, each addressing an important global need:

  1. Future of Learning – Design tools that make education more engaging, accessible, and effective through technology.

  2. AI for Good – Develop AI-driven solutions that help communities, improve accessibility, or solve social challenges.

  3. Security & Online Safety – Build projects that protect digital identities, promote cybersecurity awareness, or enhance online privacy.

  4. Open Innovation – Have a groundbreaking idea that doesn’t fit into a category? Build anything you want and bring your vision to life!

How to Get Started

  1. Join Our Discord (https://discord.gg/TqDvsvT7Kf) – Meet participants, find teammates, and stay updated.

  2. Explore Our Website (https://www.amplicode.org/) – Find more details about the hackathon, access free coding resources, and take advantage of courses to enhance your skills.
  3. Choose a Theme – Pick one of the three challenge areas and start brainstorming.

  4. Start Planning – Brainstorm ideas for your project.

Requirements

  • Demo Video – Submit a 2-minute (or less) video showcasing your project. Your video must begin with:
    • "Hey, I'm [Your Name], and this is my demo for AmpliCode Hackathon 2025."

  • Choose a Theme – During submission, select one of the four hackathon themes (Future of Learning, AI for Good, Security & Online Safety, or Open Innovation). Prizes will be awarded based on these tracks.

  • Public Repository – Your project code must be in a public repository and remain accessible post-event for prize eligibility.

  • Registration Completion – Ensure you’ve completed all Devpost registration steps before submitting.

  • Fresh Submissions Only – All projects must be built during the hackathon. No prior work or cross-submissions to other hackathons are allowed.

  • Team Size – No minimum or maximum limit, but teams of up to 4 tend to perform best.

    How unique and original is the project? Does it introduce a fresh perspective or solve a problem in a novel way?
  • Technical Complexity
    How advanced or well-executed is the technical implementation? Does the project demonstrate strong coding skills, effective problem-solving, or innovative use of technology?
  • User Experience & Design
    Is the project intuitive and user-friendly? Does it provide a seamless and engaging experience with thoughtful design and functionality?
  • Overall Presentation & Impact
    How well is the project communicated in the submission? Does the demo effectively showcase the idea, and does the project have potential for real-world impact?
