This turtle was out in our front yard. He was kind of big. I think he must have came from the creek. He didn't stay very long, though.

BACKYARD BEAUTY

So far so good. Everything is growing or, more importantly, living. The grass is coming in nicely after having it re-seeded.

HAND STAMPED CUTTING BOARD
While in Turkey we bought a natural handcrafted cutting board. I hand stamped it with my PUMPKIN COBBLER recipe that Ugur loves so much. (It took me forever!) Than I stained it.

MACHINE EMBROIDERY
This is what I made Ugur for valentines day. I used my sewing machine to embroider the message and than stitched the lines to make it look like notebook paper. Reminiscence of a note kids would write to each other in school.
