Does exactly what it looks like!
I have under mount sink so I couldn't place this product across the back and it wouldn't sit very well so I have it running down the side. So far it seems to be doing exactly as advertised, keeps my cleaning utensils off the back of the sink. The towel rack feels a little flimsy but so far has been holding up well with some wet was cloths on there.
