    I own one of these from FP and I love it so much I wanted to get a bunch of other colors and figured I would give a dupe a try.

    The FP one has a nice taper in on the sides at the waist making it incredibly flattering. The material is super soft and the buttons lay flat and close to my body all the way down.

    This one is just sewn straight down the sides. There’s no flattering taper on this one. But if you’re not going for formfitting then this may work for you. However, the buttons also don’t lay right. The seam the buttons are on is really thick and the buttons are spaced in a way that any tension on them bulge weird. I don’t think it has to do with my normal proportionate shape given the real one lays just fine.

    If you just want to button up tank top and aren’t trying to have it fit closely to your body would work.

    If you own a FP one/want it fitted, you will be disappointed. This just lacks all of the nuanced fit details that make the original one so good.

    I have mixed feelings about this top and I have a feeling this is going to be my summer staple. I ordered an XS, hoping for a tighter fit and it arrived a little big on the baggier side, even with all the buttons secured. At first, I didn’t feel it would fit the vibe I wanted, but eventually it did grow on me. The material looks like it’s thin, but it does offer good coverage. I tried with one of my grey bras and it didn’t show at all!
