A Businees Trip to China

After many discussions over at the Beijing's exhibition with the suppliers last month, here I come again to China for the follow up factories visit.... I am sorry that I can't disclose about the factories that I visit in this trip but I would like to share the food in this trip... My first stop was at Shenzhen....

Shenzhen's new airport with a very modern designed concept.... While the building is very updated and unique,.... I can't say the same for the signages....

I thought my English was bad enough... but look at what the heck they wrote....

Wow! A beautiful lady Tepanyaki chef preparing our dinner tonight....

A gorgeous feast for the eyes and belly..... Ummm Ummm, Yummy!....

Next stop, North pound to Weihai....

A short lunch break after touched down.....

On my way to the factories..... we passed through very harsh suburbs...

Stopping over for some fresh strawberries selling by the roadside....

We came to a seafood restaurant in town.... Hermit Crab for food?? They sure have many weird selections.... and very colourful too....

A Korean style Seafood Hot Pot...

Boiled Conchs, Steamed Black Sea Perch, Roasted Pigeon and Boiled Starfish.... I wonder what else they have to offer that I have not eaten before.... Too much for now, can't even walk with my filled belly...

A Lure Fishing Project

A secret project is about to commence.... A group of fishing enthusiasts is trying to conduct a large scale lure game ponds full of monster predatory fishes.... But this is just an initial idea and now we are surveying some existing fish ponds and still in discussion on how to convert them.....

With the sufficient existing ponds and manpower it is easier than what we initially thought....

The existing ponds are now growing this Australia Jade Perch naturally....

Well, the owner caught a few for our lunch consumption that afternoon....

A trip to Beijing

An unexpected trip to Beijing.... Out of the blue a friend called up and informed that I should come over immediately to meet up someone concerning my China prospect.... I booked my ticket right a way after the call and flew over that night itself....

Well, I can't tell you what exactly was involved but I can surely show you the Beijing food delight.... When talking about the old Beijing, you should not miss out on the Beijing Hutongs 北京老胡同.... a traditional courtyards and alleys....

兴丰包子 Hing Fung Dumpling which was proudly introduced after the visit of the Chinese president Xi Jinping..... No so bad... I personally love the 北京炒肝 Beijing Chaogan, a starchy dish that is made with pork liver, pork intestine with the garlic, soy sauce and vinegar seasoning...

Beijing is really cold in this time of the year.... Let's go for something hot.....

Queuing is compulsory when you want to dine-in in a famous restaurant...

Yes! Beijing Lamb Hot Pot..... I am starving, can't wait no more...

What we had in the morning for breakfast was Beijing Soy Bean Paste Noodle  北京炸酱面, Fermented Hot Soy Milk 豆汁...

Ohhh! Too many eating stuffs,... Let's cool down with some Chinese Tea.....
