My Original Caps

After years of angling, fishing is now starting to became a great sport activity in Malaysia. And fashion has now come into everyone's mind. Therefore, I designed my own cap...... Well, here is my first edition......

Fly Fishing

In conjuction with the trip up North, I asked Dennis to come with me so we can do some fly fishing at my friend's farm. This time I asked him to show me how to fly a fish..... Here comes Dennis catch.......A nice 4kgs Barramundi caught on fly......

Yes!!! Finally, I hooked up a fish on fly.......It is nearly a 2kgs Milk Fish. It fought really strong, I took 5-6 minutes to land this guy...... Phew!It is a fresh experience for me to actually catch a fish on fly........ it's totally different with the lure fishing game......... feels good indeed! I might be doing it again in future...... but first thing I need to buy my own fly rod.

At this moment, I can only catch more fish on Lure but not on fly........ My little princess wants to do fishing too..... Hee Hee Hee! Start her young......

Peacock Game

As usual the North-East Monsoon kicks-in in the month of October. It is raining season in Peninsular Malaysia now, and it's good timing for Peacock Bass fishing in Air Kuning......... One of the reason that we love to go there is because of the famous freshwater prawn in Tg. Tualang. It has made us visit this fishing ground often.... You will know how good it taste by looking at Hoe's happy face......This was the result from two weeks ago, after a half day fishing there.......On the way back home, I spotted this weird color buffalo looking at us....... Last weekend we came again, and this time we have Vincent from France, and Dennis to join me for the trip...... We reached there Saturday evening, just a little bit of time left for a Peacock game before we check into the hotel at Tg. Tualang.....

Immediately, I had a strong strike near the small island at the side of the pond........ Woooo.... Real strong fight on my 10lb line light tackle!
Man! Look at this fish! It didn't really hooked up in the mouth, it just got stuck in it..... Ha Ha Ha!!! Good size! Cheers for this stupid one.......
