A half day breakaway

After being grounded for 2 months, since my last trip back from Russia. Finally I have a chance to break away for a half day trip to Bkt. Buruntong........ David, our lure fishing beginner was so happy to catch his first Haruan on that morning....... Cheers! Good catch!...........

Look! What I spotted....... a great size Haruan surfacing on the water.......

Yeah! It strike my spinner bait hard when I retrieved infront of it....... Yippee!!

And I caught a few Striped Cichlid with Gulp white worm......

Suddenly the sky turned dark and it looks like a storm is brewing in the horizon.........

Before the heavy rain fell, I managed to land a 4.5kg Toman on my surface pencil bait......Yes!!

Rainny Day in Air Ganda

Another group of Chinese from Macau came for a game of Toman at Air Ganda......... Hoe picked them up and headed straight for Gerik town.........It rained heavily all the way to Gerik town (Everyone was so worried about the fishing condition at the Air Ganda Lake)...........

There were no Toman biggies caught during the whole trip due to rainny day........ but, for this fishing Toman first timers, it was an exhilarating time with plentiful 2 - 3 kgs sized Tomans caught among them....... Take a look at thier catches........

Birth of my second daughter

With my second child just arriving....... I will be busy taking care of her and my wife....... Seems like I will be grounded for the time being.......... NO MORE FISHING!! Sighhh!! Look at her, she is so adorable....... We have named her LokYi (诺宜)........ She sure looks more like me...... Heh Heh Heh!! ( I win again, sorry dear )........ A big welcome from LokSi........

The elder one is taking it well so far, planted a kiss on her cheek...... Muahhhhh!! ( Mom! Help! sis tried to eat me)........

Sensational Rompin Sailfish Fishing

A group of Macau and Hong Kong guests came for Sailfish fishing last weekend........And this time, Hoe acted as a local guide and put in the effort for the guests to hook up the big Sailfish........

Rompin's exotic landmark..........There they went.......... First,you have to search for the bait fish...........

Here comes plentiful life bait fish........... easy job!!......
This year the Sailfish seem scarce compared to last year,...... They only landed three Sailfish on the first day........ And they were all just small ones too...........

While waiting for the Sailfish to hook up........Hoe tried to jig some squid for that night's dinner....... What a bonus for him when he found out he actually caught a Coral cord...... Looks yummy !!Sometimes the Garfish will take the bait too...........Wow! Double whammy!!...........Sailfish Sport fishing in Rompin imposed catch & release at all times..........

Sailfish will makes acrobatic jumps when hooked..........
