We took the kids to Sea World. We can get free entry once a year with Mike's military ID. What a great day; we made it to all the shows and got to interact with some pretty amazing creatures. It is so fun to have the older kids the age that they are, they were so well behaved and everything went so smoothly. Anna went to Sea World with her Aunt Nora and her sister Rachel when she was about Sam's age and she still has great memories of it. We hope the kids remember this trip too. We sat in the front row, right next to the center where the whales show off. We barely even got splashed too! The kids would hide under our umbrellas though any time the trainers sent them off to splash. They were so silly!
There is a Sesame street kids area in the middle of Sea World that wasn't there the last time either of us went. It was a great play area for the kids to break up the sit-down shows; they had a blast.
I love this picture. So cute!
Attempts at a selfie...
Lillie was so proud that she was big enough to go on this ride all by herself. She is getting tall enough for some much bigger rides too.
Aimee and Daddy hung out while the others went on the Elmo ride, and Aimee was just looking so cute in the stroller that Daddy had to take a picture.
I loved the Dolphin show with the acrobats and divers; it was probably our favorite.
Lillie thought the sharks were very scary, but she held mom's hand tight and braved her way through it.
Mike and Aimee in the shark tunnel.
This turtle was huge, and it hung out right next to the glass for almost the whole time we were there. It was probably 150 years old, and still young dude! Totally righteous! haha.
The kids played a fun little game with turtles.
This was the Dolphin Point where you could go and watch the dolphins and see if they come close enough to pet them. Sam got about 6 inches from one, so close.
Mike took the kids on a ride and they got soaked. They loved it though!
This was a little pool where there were cleaner fish. You put your hand in and a dozen or so fish come and suck on your hand. It really tickled and was really fun.
We had a great time and just a little side note Sea World was a little like a mini Utah that day. Apparently it was a lot of Utah school districts spring break so we saw a lot of BYU and U of U paraphernalia. It made me smile to see so many members of the church. Can't wait for next year.
