Sea World

We took the kids to Sea World. We can get free entry once a year with Mike's military ID. What a great day; we made it to all the shows and got to interact with some pretty amazing creatures. It is so fun to have the older kids the age that they are, they were so well behaved and everything went so smoothly. Anna went to Sea World with her Aunt Nora and her sister Rachel when she was about Sam's age and she still has great memories of it. We hope the kids remember this trip too. We sat in the front row, right next to the center where the whales show off. We barely even got splashed too! The kids would hide under our umbrellas though any time the trainers sent them off to splash. They were so silly!

We passed by the Flamingos between shows. It's amazing how close were were to so many amazing animals. The kids could have pet the flamingos, but the signs everywhere said not to touch them. They were extremely close though.

There is a Sesame street kids area in the middle of Sea World that wasn't there the last time either of us went. It was a great play area for the kids to break up the sit-down shows; they had a blast.

I love this picture. So cute!

 Attempts at a selfie...

Lillie was so proud that she was big enough to go on this ride all by herself. She is getting tall enough for some much bigger rides too.

Aimee and Daddy hung out while the others went on the Elmo ride, and Aimee was just looking so cute in the stroller that Daddy had to take a picture.

I loved the Dolphin show with the acrobats and divers; it was probably our favorite.

Lillie thought the sharks were very scary, but she held mom's hand tight and braved her way through it.

This turtle was huge, and it hung out right next to the glass for almost the whole time we were there. It was probably 150 years old, and still young dude! Totally righteous! haha.

The kids played a fun little game with turtles.

This was the Dolphin Point where you could go and watch the dolphins and see if they come close enough to pet them. Sam got about 6 inches from one, so close.

Mike took the kids on a ride and they got soaked. They loved it though!

This was a little pool where there were cleaner fish. You put your hand in and a dozen or so fish come and suck on your hand. It really tickled and was really fun.

We had a great time and just a little side note Sea World was a little like a mini Utah that day. Apparently it was a lot of Utah school districts spring break so we saw a lot of BYU and U of U paraphernalia. It made me smile to see so many members of the church. Can't wait for next year.

St. Patty's Day

This is our third year of doing leprechaun mischief. Lillie and Sam have been talking about it all month. Every time something was not right in our house, say we couldn't find the hair brush, it was the leprechauns fault. He moved all our pictures around, didn't flush the toilet, played with the kids toys, and tracked foot prints everywhere.

He left 2 boxes of Lucky Charms. One was normal and the other was only clovers for the marshmallows. He tried stilling the kids coins out of their piggy banks but couldn't get therm open. He also left these glasses and some green mustaches.

We sometimes get bucks in our pool just for fun we had one on St. Patty's Day before Lillie went to school. We feed him some bread.

Lillie got some green hair clips and wanted me to take a picture. She is covering her lip because she has a scratch. What a goof.

Just because she is so cute, here are some pictures of Aimee on her first Saint Patrick's Day.

She started smiling  two weeks ago but we haven't been able to get many of them on camera.

We had corned beef and cabbage for our dinner. Today I made come grilled (really broiled) corned beef and cheese sandwiches for lunch and  left this cup on top of the stove. The heat from the top melted this cup. Then Lillie made it into a monster.

Lillie made this leprechaun hat at school so Sammy wanted one. Then Sam wanted Aimee to have one. Then Daddy needed one and of course Mommy.

Yes, she is the cutest leprechaun in the world. Happy St. Patrick's Day 2014
