Our first camp site at the state park...it was actually just the grassy area of the rest stop. All the campsites were full so we had to wait until morning for a regular site.

Moving to our new campsite. It was perfect, except for the bull frog that would rib-it, all night and all day.

A picnic lunch, after the fossil museum and just before our hike.

Ready to head to church in John Day. As you can see we had a very large campsite.

A Sunday drive high up the in mountains lead us to this perfect lake to cool off, once again.

We finished the trip in Fossil Oregon where we dug for our own fossil. We found quite a few plants, and got to bring them home.
The long drive was worth every minute.

Fly...Drive...SAIL!

Uncle Doug invited me back east to go on a week long sail trip with them, of course I said yes.
I flew into Washington DC were we then drove through the night 12 hrs to Fulmouth Massachusetts. Where we caught the boat.
I was excited to spend time with my east coast family who I don't know really well. The trip included, Uncle Doug, Aunt Ginny, Hanna, my cousin Dina daughter, Rebbecca, another cousin, her husband Curtis and their three kids; Lilly, Anna, Sam.

Our first stop was Nantucket.-one of my new favorite places.
