Pony Ride?

After church, we took Olivia out to Tim's coworker's ranch to ride a pony. Olivia was SO excited to be going to ride a pony.

When we got out there, and she saw the living Pony, she decided she didn't really want to ride it. I think she thought we were taking her to a carousel. Oops.

She just sat on it a couple of times. Didn't really want to move. Or hold on. Just wanted off.

She had more fun feeding it grass.

There was the neighbor's dog that she wanted to chase and play with. Wiggles.

9-Month Wannabe

Most all of Eli's clothes are hand-me-downs…so some may be a bit smaller than what's on the tag.

Here he is in a 9 month outfit.

Nighttime feeding...or blogging. Just a summary of the night...

It's 2:20am. Saturday morning. Our friend Carrie just flew in to visit us for the weekend. Ate some yummy food in Chinatown. Got home at 8, kids got bathed. Eli fell asleep at about 9 in his swing. Olivia was in her room. Left Carrie and Tim downstairs to watch New Moon. I retired to bed.

Eli stirred at about 12:50a. Gave him a pacifier. He slept longer. After waking up a bit, decided to pump some milk. Got a total of about 10-12oz. Fed him about 5oz at about 1:20a.

One quick burp. Zipped him back in his Woombie. Checked email...and decided to blog. Should get back to sleep. Our friend Daniel is going to help us take some family pictures tomorrow. Very excited.

It's funny how a little (or a LOT) fat changes their look so much.

He had his 2-month checkup today.

13lbs 4oz (75-90th percentile)

Dry skin/cradle cap. Did you know you can use dandruff shampoo for this?? Never knew.

Did you know that Johnson and Johnson could be making this condition worse? Or flare up? Again, never knew.

Elijah's hair is sooo light. And his eyes are looking kinda light-gray, too. I wonder how they'll be when he's 6 months.
