Family Vacation Day 5

Image
I uploaded these way back in August, and am just now in December getting around to publishing this post. So much has happened in between.

Family Vacation Day 4

ImageWe had a blast playing baseball. This was my team, the Stephenson Wolves, (I think or maybe it was snakes). I'm pretty sure the other team was the Golden Eagles. I know Annika was insistent on the Golden part, but I'm not sure if it stuck.
ImageYou can see Dallin running to first, Ariel to second, and is that Jeff and Camille trying to field the ball?
ImageGrandpa, teaching Adriana to swing. Alice observing.
ImageAnnika, Gwyneth and Adriana, waiting for a hit.
ImageAidan helping Dallin swing.
ImageAidan helping James swing and Camille observing. Future batting coach?

Family Vacation Day 3

ImageThe Snows arrived Sunday morning and Annika and Clara hit it off right away. No introductions necessary.
ImageThis was an attempt at a cute picture before church. I didn't take into account that the sun was blaring in their eyes.
ImageWe had to get a shot of this quartet of coincidentally coordinating cousins. (Hows that for alliteration?) In hindsight, it would have worked out a lot better in-doors.
ImageAs soon as we walked back in the door after church these two were playing beauty shop.
ImageChecking out the horses. The whole weekend the kids loved helping Grandma and Grandpa with the chores, Ariel especially. She even helped Grandpa move a bunch of hay.
ImageAnnika just couldn't get enough of the horses.

ImageThis is just a glimpse of the many spontaneous games being played by a gaggle of cousins.

Family Vacation Day 2

ImagePeter, Raeah, and Sarah arrived Saturday morning, and we had a good time hanging out with them and getting to know cute baby Sarah. She does this really cute step with her leg when her parent's take her walking, holding both of her hands walking behind her. She is lucky to have such patient parents.

ImageThis was at the butterfly exhibit at the Milwaukee Public Museum. Those are butterflies emerging from their chrysalises behind us.

Image Grandpa always looks good holding his grand-babies.

ImageLook at that handsome smile! Sarah was trying to figure out why Uncle Luke looks so much like Daddy.
ImageGreat smiles must run in the family.
