In the early days of using a Mac this was my go-to uninstaller as it removed all the cruft that gets left behind when you just drag & delete apps using the bin. Sadly it's been left to wither on the vine for years, even though the website is still there. Had two major macOS upgrades since it was last updated. wish it was still going as I've also had to switch to CleanApp (which tries to do too much).

It works, but beware the company regularly has abandoned the application for years at a time. A dated interface and software I just am not going to trust again for it not to be abandoned gain.

I have licences for both CleanApp and AppZapper, and I just uninstalled CleanApp (with AppZapper, ironically enough).
Reason being, AppZapper does one thing and does it very, very well. CleanApp, by comparison does a lot to things, but many of them not quite well.
As I said, I uninstalled CleanApp, and installed Maintenance (from the makers of OnyX) so that I have an app that focuses ONLY on maintenance, as opposed to focusing on maintenance and uninstalling.
I tend to go back and forth as far as which application I tend to use, but at this point I like the focus of AppZapper and Maintenance, which each do ONE thing really, really well.
