“This opportunity has given me hope and a future. Through being part of Talanta, I’ve learned that girls do not have to be circumcised or married off at a young age. I’ve discovered that girls can be educated, empowered, and play a significant role in building a better society. I have also gained knowledge on how to set life goals, make good decisions, and believe in myself. I am truly grateful to be part of this school that is shaping my future.”

Exciting news from our partners in Nigeria, construction is underway! The roof has been framed and walls built. In a video shared by our partners, you can hear the Islamic call to prayer, known as the adhan, as the construction is being shown. The adhan is a powerful reminder of the robust Islamic presence in the community, and the Anglican Diocese of Osun’s own presence and their desired impact.
