Artifacts of the “Now” explores the current moment- physical, geographical, and the cultural- in all mediums. What objects place one in the current moment? What imagery is reflective of the time, something in which could be touchstone for future generations? What says- “this is so 2026!”. All of these ideas, and more, will be interpreted by a range of differing artists.

Utilizing the unique and memorable features of the old Glen Allen School, our 50,300 square foot multi-use facility opened as The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen in 1999. To bring together the best in visual, literary, and performing arts, the Center presents impeccable programming, as well as hosting outside arts organizations.
