Puzzle Master

Sorry its been so long since my last post ive gotten a bit busy. The second week of Nov I got a job in the evenings working at Carters( a kids store with loads of really cute clothes). And traveling to portland for thanksgiving. No excuse i know but oh well. An update on us so since thanksgiving I had my bday on dec 1st, then last wednesday i sliced part of my thumb off using one of those kitchen slicer things, my sister couldnt find the safety and i was going really slow, so im healling from that ordeal. We joined a new gym, we are finally taking charge to get in shape, here is a link to the gyms site they have all kinds of pics and 360 angles check it out.... LifeTime Fitness

Keegan loves puzzles. He has about 15 board puzzles and if he does one he has to do them all once in a row before doing any repeatedly, hes kinda silly. But he now has them mastered and is now moving onto learning how to do real puzzles.

First Football Game

I know its sad that we haven't taken Keegan to a football game before but we aren't football fans. Sorry to everyone who is. This was even my first high school game to go to. Our friend Nicole is a cheerleader for one of the teams and she got us to go. Keegan was down on the sidelines for a while we are trying to get the pics the yearbook guy took. He had a blast we might have to do it again next year.


This is one of the school bands, they had 350 people in it and they were amazing, sadly the other band had like 75 people in it it was so sad.


Us at the game, Keegan wouldn't turn his head away from the game for a second. It was so cute how enthralled he was. When the crowd would cheer so would he.


This is him flipping because from where she was standing he thought he couldn't see what was going on. He normally runs and gives Nicole hugs.

I love it now Konnor can smile back at us when we act all goofy, sadly not when cameras are around much but oh well. He smiles ear to ear and his eyes shut too, its adorable.

Sprinkler Fun and Tears

One downfall to our house is we dont have a sprinkler system, so we forget to water all the time. This day and most days since Keegan decided to see what they did so he stepped in front and stood still for a minute then decided to run around. After a few minutes he looked at me and....

Started fussing so I ask him "is something wrong" I get a "Yeah" response so I ask "is it being mean to you" and he said "Yeah". I ask again "do you need help out" he responded "Yeah".

Gotta love a kid of few words but its like deciphering code most of the time.

Sleeping at the Doctors

At Konnors 2 month check Konnor was screaming so I picked him up at the same time getting Keegan his second cereal bar. Im getting Konnor settled down and this is what I see next . Then I turn back and my next pic is what was waiting.
Two sleeping boys how did that happen. Too bad it couldnt last they had to wake Konnor up to do his shots and Keegan had to get up to go get an ultrasound done to see if he had a hernia. Yep he sure did. Poor Keegan he got tubes in June and hernia surgury in September.
We went down and he had one so making surgury appointments and everything all in one day. pics of that day later.

Zane's B-Day

I know his birthday was in July but we just put all our pics on the computer so there are going to be lots of old ones.


We went to my sisters house and played all afternoon into the evening. we all went swimming, Keegan is a little water hound, if he sees water he is going to do anything he can to get in.

Here is my mom holding Konnor he woke up anytime she went inside or tried to put him down, he has days like that.

This is the first time he ever noticed the play house, it was so muddy and had lots of spider webs but he wouldnt come out.Kids are real funny when they want something.

He also found Colton's mini skateboard, he loved it.

Last week we got him one of his own, "how could we not it was only 5 bucks", said Zane

Cookie Time

Keegan loves to help make cookies. You just have to watch out for what he might put in.

You want me to do what mom, I finally decided Keegan was old enough to eat cookies my favorite way.

Oh that is yummy! Why didnt I think of that.

Since this time he tries to taste the dough any chance he gets. So any time the machine is off while making them his hand goes in. He hasnt figured out it doesnt taste good till the end. He loves helping scoop he dough and put it on the tray.

On Saturday we took the boys to Sears to get their pictures done. It was crazy! We got their early to go shop for outfits. Children's Place had such cute things we got both their outfits their. Keegan had a blast making Zane chase him around the stores all while Konnor slept in the snuggle. Sadly when we got their we had to wake Konnor up early from his nap to change him then he thought I'm up ok I'm hungry. And Keegan was done with behaving he was so ready for a nap man it was crazy. He fell asleep in the car on the way home.

How cute is he!

His clothes are a bit big oh well buying the right size felt dumb so I bought 3-6month clothes they will last longer, money well spent.

We had the hardest time getting Keegan to sit still, notice the mouth full of tic tacs. Oh are those my feet in the back on the right, oh well its the only one of the two of them that turned out. And Konnor is like were did my pacifier go mom, why did you just yank it out of my mouth!

Keegan was having none of sitting for his pictures so Zane got up there and was throwing him around an flipping him in the air then set him down and jumped out of the way and Walla a smile.

You thought I would sit still huh no way. Keegan was rocking back and forth on the bench then got tire of it before we got a smile oh well it shows personality right.

A Busy Week

We had a lot of things happening around here:

• Keegan turned 2 1/2 on Tues 21st
• Our 4 year Anniversary on Thur 23rd
• Konnor turned 2 months on Fri 24th
• Konnor rolled over this week but never when I have the camera

Konnors Day

Last weekend a lot of family came in town for Konnor's Big Day. Thursday night Zane's parents and brothers Heath and Spencer came, then on Friday my brother Heath and his family came in. On Friday Zane, his family and my brother Scott went to Six Flags, they had a blast great weather and no lines, not fair. Saturday the Brown men went golfing, when they got back we went to Pappadeaux for lunch man that was amazing food! Yummy! Then a little shopping and off to my nephew Arons 4th Birthday party, presents, swimming, pizza and Cake. And Sunday everyone came to our house for lunch then to church for Konnor's blessing, then back to our house for pictures and hanging out until the Browns had to leave to catch flights home. WE had a lot of fun with all the family in town together wish time could go in slow motion it seems to always go in fast forward instead.

Saturday at my sister Callis house, we had a blast swimming. Keegan is a little water frog with his floaties on, he doesnt like us holding on to him now.

The Boys

So it took me longer than I thought to put pics on the comp, oh well they made it. We recently were very busy with the 7thHarry Potter book so nothing happened all weekend but reading, but we are done so back to doing other things.

This is the edible bouquet that the Browns sent us when we had Konnor, man it was yummy and supper cute too.
Konnor the day before he came home. No more breathing tubes, and after Ileft they took out the feeding tube too. Fast progress.The first time Keegan got to see Konnor, kids under 6 cant go into the NICU. He wanted to hold him by himself, scary. He lost interest in him real quick, thats ok its safer that way.My mom brought this peg board learning thing over for Keegan. He had lots of fun but hasn't touched it since its kinda weird how finicky kids can be.I took tons of pics this day but most came out blurry or he turned. He is starting to fill out. The day before this he had a doc apt and he was up to 7lbs and 20in. We will see on the 1st of Aug how much bigger he is. He is still real little but so big compared to when he was born. He lovesto be held when he sleeps during the day he wakes up when you put him down. I feel bad cause then I cant play with Keegan but Keegan doesn't care he ignores me all day until he wants something.

Keegan has had a hard time learning that he is too big for the baby gear but he finally found one he wont get in trouble getting in. I had put Konner under the play mat to put a movie in for Keegan and I turned around and he had gotten under next to Konnor, how cute.

Baby Konnor Couldnt Wait

Konnor decided he didnt want to wait until July 22nd to come to our family. On Saturday June 23rd I went into labor and he was born at 350am June 24th. He was 19in 5lb14.5oz. Being early he had underdeveloped lungs so they shipped him to the nearest hospital with a full NICU. He got the best of care and was able to come home on July 4th. We went up to see him and asked how soon we could bring him home and they said "How about TODAY!!" Wow. They said his lung issues were taken care of and he was doing amazing. Here are pics of his progress.

Right after born checking him outI got to hold him for like 30 seconds before they took him away to further check his lungs since he looked like he was breathing hard.

This is after they took the intibation tube out of his nose, my sis has those pics and more. He had the breathing tube to help him but was breathing on his own. The tube in his mouth was a feeding tube, it took a few days to get him to accept food and then they had to wait till he wasnt intibated to introduce the bottle.
They finally took the tube out of his belly button that went thru his artery to his heart to monitor more stuff. We finally got to hold him for real!

He is our little trooper, the nicu team call them Wimpy White Boys apparently they are the worst to come early. He is now home and doing great. He would prefer to sleep were its noise than quiet. I guess all those machines in the nicu helped with that.
