About

atl.wiki is a centralised, easy-to-use reference for the Linux and FOSS ecosystem that provides clear overviews and practical guides for all users of the tools and systems!

Rather than replacing pre-existing documentation and wiki's, we aim to complement them by connecting concepts across distributions and tools as well as highlighting essential references and best practices. You can see more about what content is suitable for the wiki in the guidelines.

You can learn more about our wiki, its history and its staff on the about page. We hope to see you join us in making the wiki a great resource for all users, with your help we can achieve greatness!

If you need wiki support, have any queries or wish to report something, check out the #atl-wiki channel on the Discord server!

How to Help

Don't be afraid to edit - anyone can edit almost every page. If you see something that could be improved, you can go and fix it! You can add content, upload freely licensed images, check that pages meet the guidelines, or improve the prose to make articles easier to read.

How to Start Editing

The best place to start is the Contributing Guide, it's fine if you are overwhelmed or don't know where to start, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first.
