The beginning of this month started with the Stucki Family Reunion. We went up to Rock Creek Girls Camp and enjoyed camping in cabins and being with the family. On Saturday morning Travis, his two brothers Chad and Bryce and his cousin Adam went fishing on Warm River. About and hour after they left, they were back bursting through the doors and Travis was holding this enormous fish. Travis had caught this 13 pound Rainbow Trout on his second cast with a spinner. He was so excited and by far the happiest man on earth at that moment. The next hour or so was spent admiring the fish, taking pictures, cleaning the fish, and cleaning my car from the blood of the fish. This was a very exciting time for Travis and this is the biggest fish he's ever caught. And yes, we have already gotten the pictures into the Taxidermy place for it to get mounted. That was the highlight of the reunion for us although it was all great and fun to be with family.
This blog thing is a little difficult for me to keep up on. So let me just recap a little ways. Last time I wrote I was pregnant and due in about a month. Since then I've had the baby (obviously) and she is about 2 months old. We are continuing to get the hang of being parents. Wow it's different but fun! Travis's brother Ryan comes home from his mission tonight so that's really exciting. Other than that we are just living and adjusting to having a baby and enjoying every minute of it.
