Hello everyone! Not so sure how active this fandom is anymore, however I just finished AOT after having watched S1-3 a couple years ago and finally rewatching it all to finish the season! GENUINELY, one of the best pieces of fiction I had the pleasure of experiencing! The storytelling, foreshadowing, soundtracks and messages this series provides is truly amazing! What is freedom? What is liberty? How do you reach peace, and how far are the lines between reclaiming what's rightfully yours and taking another's? Who is truly the enemy here? It all comes down to perspective, and I believe that's what makes AOT so great! If this fandom is still kicking, I would love to see more opinions about what this show means to them, and what it teaches the audience!!

I've been thinking. I've re watched aot too many times that I know some lines by heart at this point. But I can't remember that one guy's name...yknkw the mass killer who took levi in as a child? What's is name. All I can think of (i don't want to Google cause I wanna try and remember his name but I cant) all I can think of is Connie, Johnnie, bonny (idk why bonny) jack???? WHAT IS HIS NAME? JACK THE RIPER?! don't have the energy to rematch it and don't wanna Google his name because as I said I wanna try to remember but I can't..(won't remember it after half an hour later even if I re-watch the episode again and again...

Im going to say that this is NOT a good first time anime, cause its so good that it sets the expectation for the next anime up to an ungodly height. Like I tried to watch Chainsaw Man, but I gave up on it immediately. AoT is more of a second anime than a first one, like you can go to Demon Slayer to AoT, My Hero Academia to AoT, but not the other way around. Like I was expecting more cause I watched AoT first lol.

Yes, Gabi was exposed to the Marley propaganda early on, and did help stop the rumbling, but she still is one of the most hated characters in AoT. Gabi is the Marlien Eren, at least it's seems like that's what its appeared. I personally think Gabi would be more respectable if we had more time with her on screen, like we did with Eren.

Sashas death was the most traumatic for me, considering I am literally just like her personality wise. When Gabi shot her in the chest I started crying like crazy. I actually cried for 4 days in total. And when Gabi lied to the girl Sasha saved, that really pushed me off the deep end. I will not condone Gabis actions nor will I think she is necessarily evil for them. But I can admit that the death of Sasha and how much it was necessary, solely depends on your perspective.

I think we would like Gabi way more if we saw her struggle like we did with Erens. We would most likely shoot a soldier when you were told you would be a hero if you did. We all can see why Eren started the rumbling, and we can sympathize with him. If we were Gabi, we wouldn't see what happened when we shot the bullet. We would see victory, like paradis saw the ill fated rumbling.

I still hate Gabi with all my heart, but I can still understand why she did what she did.

I've just finished Return to Shiganshina arc in manga. And noticed something. I think the reason behind Grisha's being a doctor in Paradise Island is Eren Kruger's words meaning that being a doctor is the best way to sneak in Marley.

Do you think that was part of the plan? Or he just continued his job like in Marley. But how could he remember his job before his past? If he remembered his past with his job, then Why did he not tell the life beyond the walls? I don't think he is aware that Royal family punishing the people giving informations not telling in the books.

I read an interesting one shot fanfic story today. And this involves Alma Reiss, the mother of Historia. Don’t know if anyone remembers in the anime or manga that Alma regrets having Historia, and she even said this when she got killed by Kenny Ackerman. So the one shot fanfic I read involving Alma is a “What if?”. And what if Alma never died but instead was saved but not without a condition she had to uphold: and that is to be a mother to Historia and have good terms with her.

Personally, I really like this “what if?” scenario a lot. Because if I’m going to be perfectly honest here, I hated that Alma died giving to the fact that she had less screentime and Isayama didn’t get a chance to flesh her out a little and give her some characterization. Plus Rod was a bastard for letting her die like that. He doesn’t deserve a beautiful woman like her.

And everyone’s free to disagree with me, but Alma deserves some fanart and fanfiction love.
