If your crops aren’t yielding like they used to, it might not be the crop. It might be the soil. Over time, soils become: 🌱 Structurally depleted 🌱 Low in microbial activity 🌱 Less efficient at holding nutrients and water The result is declining performance, even when inputs stay the same. Soil health is often the missing link. Learn more at https://wormtech.com.au

The weeks leading up to sowing are one of the most important opportunities to influence crop performance. What happens in the soil before planting can determine how efficiently nutrients are used throughout the season. Poor soil structure and limited biological activity can restrict root development and reduce nutrient availability, limiting crop establishment and resilience. Worm Granule 531 helps support the processes that build productive soil. Organic components improve aggregation and soil structure, creating better conditions for root growth and water movement. At the same time, microbial diversity is supported through the organic carbon sources present in the granule, helping drive nutrient cycling and improve the effectiveness of fertiliser programs. Because Worm Granule 531 is produced in a granule size comparable to MAP, it can be easily integrated into fertiliser systems and spreading programs during paddock preparation. Healthy crops start with healthy soil systems. Contact Wormtech to secure Worm Granule 531 before winter sowing begins. https://lnkd.in/gzz6efbK

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗽𝘂𝘁, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗶𝗹 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀? Rising fertiliser costs and increasingly variable seasons are pushing growers to rethink how soil systems work. Because productivity doesn’t just come from what you apply. It comes from what the soil can do with it. Healthy soil biology drives: • Nutrient cycling • Root access to nutrients • Water efficiency • System resilience over time When biology improves, fertiliser programs perform better, and inputs work harder. That’s the thinking behind Granule 531, designed to activate soil biology and integrate seamlessly into existing systems. We break it down in the article below. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gsgg9UjE #SoilBiology #SoilHealth #Agronomy #CropNutrition #SoilSystems #Wormtech

Soil Biology: The Missing Link Between Fertiliser and Performance When we talk about productivity, the focus often lands on nitrogen rates, timing, and input costs. But real performance isn’t just about what you apply, it’s about what your soil can do with it. Soil biology is the engine behind nutrient cycling, moisture retention, aggregation, and root efficiency. It’s the difference between fertiliser applied and fertiliser utilised. In today’s environment of rising input costs and unpredictable seasons, improving soil function is one of the strongest leverage points growers have. Wormtech Granule 531 is designed to feed the system, not just the crop. By combining worm castings, high-quality compost, and rock minerals into a hardened granule, it delivers carbon, nutrients, and biological habitat in a format that integrates seamlessly into existing fertiliser programs and equipment. The goal isn’t to replace fertiliser. It’s to improve how efficiently your existing program works, supporting nutrient cycling, improving biological distribution, and strengthening soil function. When soil structure improves, water and air infiltration improves. This matters because soil biology is aerobic. With better air movement, biological processes that support nitrogen cycling become more active, helping improve nitrogen use efficiency and supporting alternative nutrient pathways. Because when soil biology is functioning, every input in the system works harder, and delivers better return. https://lnkd.in/gJRNZ_pw #SoilBiology #RegenerativeAg #SoilHealth #NitrogenEfficiency #Wormtech #AgInnovation

Cheaper doesn’t always mean lower value. In soil improvement, it often means smarter systems. For large-scale crop ventures, soil inputs must deliver more than a short-term nutrient response, they must improve performance over time. Compost produced through council partnerships offers a clear advantage: ✔ Cost-effective at scale due to local sourcing ✔ Builds soil structure, water efficiency and nutrient cycling ✔ Activates soil biology rather than replacing it ✔ Reduces the need for ongoing corrective inputs When soil function improves, productivity becomes more stable, especially in challenging seasons. This is why more enterprises are viewing compost not as an “add-on”, but as core infrastructure for soil resilience and long-term profitability. Healthy soil isn’t a cost. It’s an investment.
