Hello everyone :) I'm not going to start posting on this blog again, but I thought I needed to send out a reminder of my NEW blog link so you would know where to find me.  Hopefully this new post shows up in people's "feeds" and I'll see you over at my new place :)

"I had this guy leave me a voice mail at work so I called him at home and then he e-mailed me to my Blackberry and so I texted to his cell and then he e-mailed me to my home account and the whole thing just got out of control. And I miss the days when you had one phone number and one answering machine and that one answering machine has one cassette tape and that one cassette tape either had a message from a guy or it didn't. And now you just have to go around checking all these different portals just to get rejected by seven different technologies. It's exhausting." 

 -He's Just Not That Into You

Anybody remember that quote?? I think about it ALL the time.  Every time I try to decide where is the best place to share something about my family, something I think is funny, something I love, something I hate.  Do I post to Facebook and then link everywhere else to it?  Or do I just choose to text it to my sister because she's the only one really who will think its funny?  Or do I send it in an email because some of my family still doesn't use facebook or blogs.  Do I print a picture and send it with an ACTUAL letter??  Wouldn't that be great.

So HERE is what I have decided for now.  I am going to be strictly posting to my new blog. 

In several days once I have gotten the word out, I am going to hold my facebook membership.  Hopefully this will give me only one portal to really focus on when it comes to "sharing", and less places to be "rejected" by :)  So please follow me there!  I'll post there just like I have here, but I'll still be trying to avoid sharing very personal information such as names and locations.

I'll miss this spot :)  I have some great memories shared here.  Thanks for the support.

Do I have the sweetest boys in the world or what?? They are so lucky to have each other.

Lochlan is 9 months old now!! What a big kid he is.  He wants to do everything his brothers do, and thinks that he's capable of it (which he is).

Climbing all 16 stairs

He's got 6 teeth with a couple more on the way

He's about to pull himself up to sit by his brothers

And again, pulling himself up on whatever he can find...

He walks along furniture now and tries to let go to stand unsupported.  He's pretty close.  He's eating solid foods and for some reason the only thing he really hasn't liked has been peaches.  Weirdo :)  He sleeps pretty well, only waking up once at night but at really random times.  Last night he slept through the night til 6am!  Good timing, we had to get up for school anyway.  He's got curly hair by his ears.  If only he'd grow some hair in back, he'd have his daddy's baby curls.

Summer was ca-razy.  I think my family had a good time (right?), and I guess I did too.  At least from the looks of it :) I can't remember... 

But now, onto new adventures!  Jade started kindergarten today!!

Even if I don't SHARE everything right away, I DO document every single detail.  Here is Jade brushing her teeth on her last night as a free kid.

And here she is happily getting into bed, ready to start her new life as an elementary school student!

And coming into my room in the middle of the night stating "Mom, I'm scared to start kindergarten.  I can't sleep" :(

Her fear didn't show in the morning.  She woke up early on her own and we had a nice morning together until it was time to bring her to school at 8:30.

I was worried I'd be the only ridiculous parent walking her child into school but luckily I was one in a million.  The halls were packed with parents with their cameras out.  Jade made a friend just as quickly as I'd expected and hoped that she would.  They held hands as they ran out to play on the playground.  They're locker buddies :)

I'm excited for her.  And nervous at the same time because I know how cruel kids can be, sometimes without even knowing it.  But hopefully no matter what she knows how much we love her and nothing that happens at school will bother her.  Love you Jadie!! <3

8 Months Today

Our little Lochstar is 8 months old today.  I don't remember 8 months being such a major milestone for my other kids.  He holds his bottle by himself, and within 3 days he sat himself up for the first time, crawled for the first time, pulled himself up to standing for the first time, and I'm pretty sure he said mama and dada (whether anyone agrees with me or not).  But here is some proof.
