The Final Count Down

This is it, breaking it down to the final 4. After this we will have to start trying out middle names and work on the flow. But for now...

Most of the products I showed the Mrs. were targeted towards women, so I share with her some geared towards the men, with mixed reviews.
The Daddle
Rockabye
Meal time

So now that we are down to the final 4 (and the likely hood that we will finish the brackets before the baby comes diminishes by the minute) where did we go wrong? what should be reconsidered? because after we name the baby (after she is born) I won't care what you say, so now's your chance. Let's hear it.

Race to the finish

We won't win any awards for deciding our baby's name the fastest, but we are going for the most entertaining, right?

Here are a few new products that most parents didn't know they couldn't live without. We didn't know about them with our first 2, but have we seen the light? Will we be making some new baby product purchases?

Hands
Congestion Relief
Mop
Hanger

But without further ado, let's make haste, we have a lot of ground to cover before the baby gets here.

We're back...

I must be getting soft. Or the fact that the Mrs. was in the hospital last me made me more accommodating, because I caved and let her go out of order. So we start round 2 before we finish round 1, for all you purists sorry, we tend to make up the rules as we go.

These links will be a helpful reference to understand the craziness that are some baby products, and we discuss them.
Diaper Bag or Pack-n-Play
Diaper or Vest or Both?

Other news...
Is the Mrs. planning on more kids already?
The bubble name, which name just missed out of the bracket?
What is the most terrorist friendly baby product?
Will our baby be best frienss with Beyonce's baby?

And let us know your questions, comments, or other info you want us to cover on the next podcast!

From the Hospital?!?!

This one's coming to you from the hospital. We went, we stayed, we got things back to normal so that we won't have to worry about it for another few weeks, as long as the Mrs. can take it easy. Cause they, the doctors, still don't really know what was happening.

Thanks to the Family and Friends that stepped in to help out and watch the kids while we got our early hospital tour. So far we have gotten over 24 hours in free childcare, 4 maybe 5 free meals for the kids, a free meal for us and many more wonderful people who have expressed desires to help out and the week isn't even over. It is clear, people like the Mrs more than me...so do I. Grateful for and humbled by the love!

Podcast 2, & 2 more down

Don't expect that we will post this often...it is really because the number of people who expressed interest in the great baby debates has hit critical mass warranting, for my convenience, a medium to distribute all at once.

In this broadcast you be introduced to Cadence Weapon, www.cadenceweaponmusic.com, the Mrs. workout friend is revealed and you will learn of the Mrs. willingness to accept bribes. There will be a public service announcement about Pregnant Hot Yoga, the entertainment value in naming daughters similar names and what might be the secret to filling out a baby name bracket, could it be haste?

The first casualties

Due to popular demand, I coerced the Mrs. into recording the discussion/ debate of the names round by round. If you would like you can submit questions that we can answer on the “Podcast”. Not sure how long this will go on, that mainly depends on how long I can keep it entertaining for Christie.

Spoiler alert, decisions are made in this “podcast” do not listen unless you are prepared to start hearing some results.

It starts...

Here it is, the much anticipated and awaited Baby Bracket.

How it came to be:
Many of our decisions are made by the process of elimination, we make a list and remove the least desirable option and go back and forth until only one remains, this is done with restaurants, movies, what to do on the weekend, etc. The expectation was that this may be how all decisions would likely be made for us. But that all changed when we found out (with our first child) we were having a boy right when March Madness was starting up. And it became clear. If we could create our lists independently, combine them, and then together narrow it down to the top 16 we(I) could create a bracket and pit each name head to head to weigh the strengths and weakness of each one to find the perfect name to bestow upon our child for their whole life, or until they are old enough to legally change it on their own.
When our second child’s due date happened to be in March it gave me an excuse to create a baby bracket another time. Now my excuse is that it wouldn’t be fair to use what is now a proven method on our first 2 children and not our third.

Rules:
The only brackets that matter our the parents of the child. Names not on the bracket can be submitted for honorable mention, but never and in no way substituted for a name on the bracket. The only real winner is the child who’s name we are selecting, for so much thought and effort will have gone into it that clearly it will be the best name a child could hope/dream of. The parents are in no way bound by the brackets or rules once the baby is born and a name must be placed on the birth certificate before leaving the hospital.

You can submit your brackets if you wish, or keep them to keep track of how you do. (Only the winning name counts no other rounds receive points).
