Browse offers from thousands of stores, choose where you want to shop, and earn cashback when your purchase qualifies. You can use Backify through our website or install or install the browser extension to spot available savings while you shop online.
Yes. Backify is free to use, and you can start earning cashback without paying any membership or subscription fees. We also believe free should not come at the cost of your privacy. Backify does not sell your personal data. We use the information needed to track eligible purchases, apply cashback, and improve your shopping experience.
Yes. Users from around the world can create a Backify account and earn cashback, as long as the store supports purchases and shipping to their location. However, Backify currently operates with full regional support in the United Kingdom, United States, and Sweden. Shopping from unsupported regions may occasionally affect cashback tracking, and some advertisers may not approve missing cashback claims for transactions made outside supported markets. We’re actively working on expanding support to additional regions.
Cashback eligibility
Yes. Using a coupon can affect cashback if the code is private, exclusive, leaked, or not authorized by the store. Cashback is more likely to track correctly when you use coupon codes shown on Backify or approved by the store.
An order is usually eligible for cashback when it is completed online, approved by the store, successfully paid for, and not canceled, returned, refunded, exchanged, duplicated, out of stock, or flagged as fraudulent.
Cashback may be declined or canceled for several reasons. Common examples include: The order was canceled, returned, refunded, or partially refunded. The order was exchanged, duplicated, unpaid, out of stock, or flagged as fraudulent. The payment was declined by your bank or payment provider. The purchase was not completed fully online, for example, it was finalized by phone or through customer support. A saved quote, renewal quote, previous session, or previously opened cart was used to complete the purchase. The store only offers cashback to new customers, and you have shopped with that store before. The order did not meet the store’s cashback terms, category rules, or other merchant conditions. A coupon, voucher, student discount, employee discount, loyalty discount, or other promotion was used that was not approved for cashback. If your cashback was declined and the reason is unclear, Backify may be able to review the issue with the store or affiliate partner. Final approval depends on the store’s tracking and cashback rules.
The amount of cashback you receive may vary with each offer. It depends on the offer you choose, the store’s cashback rate, and how much you spend. Cashback is typically calculated after any discounts are applied and based on the eligible order value. This usually excludes taxes, sales tax, shipping or delivery fees, service fees, payment fees, handling charges, gift wrapping, and other extra charges. Always read the store’s cashback terms before making a purchase, as rates, eligible categories, exclusions, and approval rules can vary by offer.
The first step toward cashback approval is successful tracking. Once your purchase tracks and appears in your Backify dashboard, that is a good sign, but it does not mean the cashback has been approved yet. The next step is confirmation from the store. Each brand has its own approval process and verification timeline. For example, if a store allows returns for 90 days, cashback approval will usually take at least 90 days. If you book and pay for a hotel stay 6 months in advance, the booking provider may only be able to verify your cashback after your stay is completed. Yes, cashback is all about consistency. It’s a small daily habit: remembering to activate your cashback through Backify before you shop. Small savings add up over time, and delayed rewards are still rewards. It’s worth it.
Cashback tracking
Although we make every effort to track transactions accurately, occasional discrepancies may occur. If you believe your cashback amount is incorrect, please contact us with as much relevant information as possible. Our team will review the issue and work to resolve it promptly.
Unfortunately, you cannot earn cashback from two websites simultaneously. Therefore, using both Backify along with another cashback website will not double the amount of cashback you would expect to receive. Not only that, it could possibly completely invalidate your cashback with us. The cashback may only be offered by the platform you clicked on last.
After you submit a missing cashback claim, we review it as quickly as possible and then forward it to the brand for investigation. Because the process depends on the brand’s response time, some claims may take longer than expected to resolve. We appreciate your patience and will keep you updated as soon as we receive new information.
Unfortunately, if you have made a purchase without using Backify, there is no possible way for us to trace the transaction and we won’t be able to issue any cashback. We really don’t want you to miss out on any future cashback, so we recommend adding our extension to your browser to help automatically detect when you are visiting a store that has a current offer.
Backify uses cookies and tracking technology to recognize when you visit a partner store through our platform and complete a qualifying purchase. This allows our partners to confirm your transaction and determine whether cashback is eligible.
Browser extension
The Backify browser extension helps you find cashback opportunities while you shop online. When you visit a store where Backify offers cashback, the extension can notify you to activate the offer before you complete your purchase. Click “Activate,” continue shopping as usual, and your eligible cashback will be tracked through Backify. The extension can also highlight partner stores and available offers in Google search results, making it easier to spot cashback and deals before you even visit a store.
Your cashback and account data are securely stored on Backify’s servers, so removing the extension or switching devices will not affect any cashback you’ve already earned. If you reinstall the extension later, simply sign back into your account to continue using Backify.
The Backify browser extension works with Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox. A Safari version is in progress and will be added once it is ready.
1. Install the extension * Chrome: grab it from the Chrome Web Store. * Edge: snag it in the Edge Add-ons Store. * Firefox: get it on Firefox Add-ons. 2. Pin the Backify icon for easy access Chrome or Edge: click the puzzle-piece Extensions icon, then hit the pin next to Backify. Firefox: the Backify icon usually appears on the toolbar right after install. If you don’t see it, open the overflow menu (») and drag it onto the toolbar. 3. Log in through the extension Click the Backify icon and log in with your account. You’re ready to start earning cashback. 4. Adjust settings whenever you like Need to tweak notifications or other options? Click the Backify icon, open the Settings tab inside the extension, and manage everything there. You stay in full control of how the extension works.
There are two common reasons: 1. Regional domain mismatch The extension looks for the store domain that matches your location. If you live in the United Kingdom but land on footlocker.com instead of footlocker.co.uk, the reminder will not appear. 2. Brand pop-up restrictions A few partner stores do not allow third-party pop-ups on their sites. When that happens, the reminder cannot show even though cashback is still available. If you ever reach a store page and the reminder is missing, open the Backify website, find the same store, and click "Shop & Earn Cashback" or "Activate" from there. Starting your visit through Backify sets up tracking correctly.
No. The extension only alerts you when coupons, deals, or cashback are available. You decide what to apply by clicking Activate (for cashback) or selecting a coupon. Nothing is added or tracked until you give your consent, so you stay in full control of every purchase.
The Backify browser extension needs certain browser permissions to detect supported partner stores, show cashback reminders, and help track eligible purchases. These permissions allow the extension to work only on relevant shopping pages where Backify offers cashback or deals.
Yes. You can disable or remove the Backify browser extension at any time through your browser settings. Backify also works directly through our website, so you can keep browsing stores, activating offers, and earning cashback without the extension.
Account support
If you are having trouble gaining access to your account, we would first recommend resetting your password. To do this, head on over to the ‘Login’ section on the website and simply click on the ‘Forgot Password?’ tab. When prompted to do so, enter your email address and click ‘Reset Password’; we will then send you an email straight away (be sure to check your spam/junk folder). If this doesn’t solve the problem, please Contact Us before creating a new account as we cannot transfer any cashback earned to a new account.
